I have to assume this is planned; a notes app without the ability to type is of little use on a laptop.

It would be nice to be able to paste text that is copied from textbooks or ppts so that we can make more comprehensive notes.

I agree with this as well, it will be very helpful to add an in-text box option because most people use Windows PC/Laptops to multitask (e.g. typing notes, while looking at lecture slides).

Typing option shuold be implemented as in IOS version I use time ago! Symbols are also usefull!

I love Good Note on My IPad, I was sad to see no Text tool, I hope to see the Text tool added in the full version. It will feel more like the IOS version.

It would be helpful if you could also enter text via the keyboard.

It did not occur to me that GN on WINDOWS does not even allow typing... Sad to find that the app is separate and cannot synchronise but still the fatal problem of this app is its failure to support typing.

For PC note writing, I think Markdown is very simple and easy to use, I want to be able to edit markdown files in the page, while annotating them with a stylus, so that goodnotes software will become the best note taking software in my opinion

Agree with this very much. For me, the advantage for the desktop version would be to sit at my computer and type. My IPad will be my best option for drawing and doodling, but my computer is best for typing.

PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! I was extremely disappointed to find out I could only handwrite in this beta, as I only use a mouse on my PC and this is far from ideal

Ability to insert text and type using keyboard. I dont have a good penmanship and having a keyboard would be a great help. Its hard to write if you are using a regular laptop only.

I totally agree, because not everyone has a Digital plate to write on the computer conveniently

I would like to be able to add typed notes to my handwritten notes.

Can we type our notes on the windows version? my handwriting is really bad so i like to type my notes and create flow charts and group ideas like how i can on the mac version

I use the textbox on my ipad everyday while teaching and writing reports. I would love to be able to have textboxes in the Windows version. (Congratulations on your Windows programming. I know it s challenging!)

Adding to what everyone else is saying - not all people have access to a stylus feature but can still find Goodnotes helpful via at least a text box option. It would be really nice to configure documents to operate without text boxes like a word or google doc, but just having some sort of typing option would be wonderful!

I agree with this also, it's really a necessity for window users and should be considered.
