  1. It would be nice if you could choose a new style for each page that you add to the existing notebook. For example: You chose blank pages for your notebook in the beginning but you need lined pages later.

Thank you for your feedback. The feature has been implemented and is now live.

During the notebook creation, users have the option to choose from Goodnotes Standard, A7, A6, A5, A4, A3, Letter and Tabloid size.

The same size options are also available in the landscape mode.

  4. The medium-thick pen is thick, and the thin one is too thin. I hope the thickness selection step will be increased to five.

🚀 NEW FEATURE ALERT! 🚀 You can now customize your pen or highlighter thickness to suit your exact needs!

Whether you prefer a finer point for more detailed notes or a thicker stroke for emphasis, the choice is now yours. Simply select the custom thickness option and adjust the slider to your desired width. It's that easy!

We're gradually rolling out the update.  Refresh your GoodNotes for Windows app or restart your Goodnotes for Android app to today.

  5. As of now, I have only been able to scroll down through all the pages in a notebook. It would be nice to have the option to swipe left or right to flip through the pages. (like a Kindle Book)

  7. I'm having a little issue with constantly having to undo because the slightest touch creates pen marks or drawings. It would be nice to have the touch sensitivity feature that iOS does because I currently use a Microsoft surface pen to draw and not my finger or another similar stylus. I know you can use 2 fingers to move the screen, but in the iOS version, it isn't necessary. I would love to see this update included!

Happy to announce that we've introduce a new toggle under advanced pen options to connect or disconnect stylus. This will ignore finger touch as drawing input when connected to stylus. Give it a try and let us know if it solves the issue that you faced.

  8. Feature parity with the iOS version. Being able to do this would make me ditch OneNote immediately.

Thanks for submitting the feedack! Stroke eraser is already supported.

You can tap the Eraser tool twice to access its settings:

    • Standard: The tool erases a small segment of a continuous stroke.
    • Stroke: The tool erases an entire continuous stroke.
  10. It would be great if we can copy and paste the selected elements by lasso select. Also, there is something I didn't like about the lasso select which is that every time I enable it by the stylus button it stays on and if you want to change it you will have to select the pen or something else manually, and I think it should be off automatically like OneNote and other apps.

📣 Introducing Draw and Hold! We're happy to announce that now you can hold your stylus at the end of a drawing to automatically straighten or snap into a shape. Also, now you can enable the option to always draw highlighter in straight line 😉

You can enable this by going to advance settings of Pen tool and enabling Draw and Hold.

  14. It'd be awesome if the Windows application can support document imports just like the iOS app. Importing lecture slides to annotate note is an integral part of our study workflow, having this ability would help a lot of students out there.
