Find Handwritten Text

In the Windows Web version, there is no option to Search and Find Handwritten text, unlike in Ipad. Looking forward to this update.

    Why did I even buy this subscription? I have a job to do and I cannot wait for this to be added. I am dumbfounded. Back to OneNote or Notability

    Honestly, this being missing is the main reason I don't use goodnotes exclusively. I live and die academically by my notes and being able to find them fast is a huge part of that. If I had realized it was missing I wouldn't have subscribed. As it is I'm hanging in there hoping it's added before it's time to decide if I want to resubscribe or not.

    Honestly I feel like if they don't put THIS SPECIFIC option then there is practically no point in paying for my subscription or even using a windows goodnotes cuz at this point i could use google docs or Canva - So PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE

    This was the feature that I was expecting when buying the subscription. So disappointed that it is not a thing yet. It really needs to be the next thing they develop.

    Even if I add text via keyboard it doesn't search for it.

    I'd even take the ability to search for typed text. Goodnotes for Android/Windows is less useful for daily notetaking than just using microsoft word (or paper, other than the ability to type) at this point.

    Without the ability to search your notes or add keywords, or index your notes the software is pretty useless as a note taking tool. There is no use taking notes about anything if you cannot quickly find them when you need to refer to them in the future. Since this is designed with handwritten notes in mind you need a way to search the handwriting to make it useful.

    In I-PAD you can search key words in both typed and hand-written texts.

    Please add OCR function so we can directly search by index for the document / picture imported.
