This is indeed a must-have feature when sharing the screen with a video-conferencing app like zoom: it would be great to hide all the menus/toolbars yet be able to use the pencil to annotate or the laser pointer...
The presenter mode is great, it works when another screen is connected, but not when broadcasting the entire screen to a video-conferencing app.
