To provide a bit of context on my workflow. I write my notes on my iPad but any processing, like capturing tasks or writing a summary, I do on my Mac. So when I've written my notes on my iPad I want to open the notes on my Mac for processing.
The suggestion of looking into the search area for recent notes doesn't work for my purpose since the list is not synchronised between my iPad and Mac. The recent notes on my iPad are different from the recent notes on my Mac.
