    This is a real problem for me as well. In particular there are lag problems with:
    * editing existing text
    * scrolling pages or thumbnails

    In addition there is buginess with the editor on macos. Today while I was using it, I was typing and the text didn't appear until I had restarted the app. Also, the navigation keys frequently stop shifting the cursor until i restart the app.
