I have a similar problem, but I can't type at all on my mac. If I press on a keyboard shortcut it switches tool, and if I press on any other letter, a bug sound beeps and nothing happens. It was working perfectly last week, and apart from synchronizing the app with my iCloud on my mac, nothing has change in my use of the app or parameters.
