    I have devised a workaround until Goodnotes decides to add a very simple, but much-needed timestamp to notes.

    It involves adding a shortcut to the IOS shortcuts app. I've attached the screenshot for building. Once built I've added it to my home screen, which when selected will copy today's date and time into your clipboard and make it available to paste into Goodnotes.

    Not perfect, but it helps me.
