Each country has its own writing practice.
In France we use big squares. Each square is divided in 4 horizontal rectangles (or 3 lines)
GoodNote is fantastic, during lockdown in France, my 8 year olds daughter does her work with it. I can easily fix the issues made by her teacher, who is not at ease with the digital world.
