Randomised template selection when adding new page
For example, I have different colours for Cornell-styled templates uploaded in the same Group of Templates.
If I were to drag open a new page when I am writing on a Notebook, it would be cool and existing if the next colour is randomised.1 vote -

improve automatic snap of lines to circle: change position of circle anchor points
I often use the automatic snap/straighten feature to straighten lines and attach them to circles.
However I get mad every time because the snap feature attaches the line at odd positions on the circles. I would expect lines to be attached at points distanced by 30 or 45 degrees.
What happens is that every time I have to edit manually the attach position of the line.
You can see from the image and the short video that the straight line is tilted.
Can this issue be fixed?
I also attach the same example with two rectangles: there is no issue…

Change stroke thickness by swiping up/down on size selector icon
I use the stroke thickness A LOT.
The new update has hidden the stroke width selectors.
I understand that you need the space for more colors, and am fine with the updated setup.A “swipe up/down on icon” gesture to change the stroke’s thickness solves my problem pretty well, without needing a buttons and layout redesign.
The current 2 tap design has killed off my speed. I didn’t realise that a single additional tap would derail me so much.

Vertically stacked page split
It would be very helpful to split screen with vertically stacked screens so that Ipads can be used in the portrait orientation and make effective use of the screen space.

Siri shortcuts in general would be nice to use for different tasks like templating or exporting as pdf.

One touch line thickness selection
Return the one touch thickness presets.
I appreciate the new update, which enables me to add more than three colors options, but it has removed the quick selection function for changing the line thickness. I often change the line thickness and the updated version of GoodNotes turns this into a three-step process where the previous version This was just a one quick tap.

Essential Text Formatting
It would be extremely beneficial to adopt some formatting options for text, bulleted lists, and outlines similar to typical document editing programs, such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs. While the app is currently great, the lack of an option to create an outline-style text box is a huge inconvenience. If you could make an outline with roman numerals and tab over for uniform subsections the app could save countless frustrating situations that students face having to use multiple document programs. Adaptive width when adding pages
When adding (pasting) pages to a existed document, it would be great if the width of the added page is adaptive to the width of the existing pages if all pages of the document are of the same size. If not all pages are of the same size, then allow users to choose the width, e.g. existing page width (A3/A4/…), same as preceding page, etc.

Recording with text also being synced with recording time
When you record and write, the writing syncs with the time of the recording. This same feature would be amazing to have when typing instead of the entire text box appearing at once.

LTI
My school uses a Learning Management System (LMS) which accepts LTI1.3. It would be amazing if GoodNotes could also have an LTI1.3 option- which would allow my students the ability to use/access their GoodNotes in the LMS (and turn in assignments there).

Goodnotes for Android can be used without connection or offline system so that Android users can use Goodnotes for Android without connection if their house area is black out, getting emergency situation and getting remote working if their signal is off in their house area. Pen/Highlighter Thickness
Please bring back drawing thickness so that it's not under a dropdown menu. Taking notes is way more streamlined with having the 3 thickness options readily available in the toolbar

If we can see 4 pages of 1 slayt at the same time, it will be more efficient and beneficial for us ı think. We can study at whole perspective.

Lernset Übersicht einfügen / Learnset Overview
Ich wünschte mir eine Übersichtsfunktion bei dem Lernset, damit man eine Übersicht aller Karten hat ohne alle durchzuswipen zu müssen.

I would like to see an overview function on the learning set so that you have an overview of all the cards without having to swipe through them all.

Re-add 3 pen thickness selections on the toolbar
This used to not be a problem until a week ago but since the update for more pen colors on the toolbar, the pen thickness is now behind two tap s, one to open the menu and the second to select the thickness. This has affected my usual work flow and it’s more tedious than I thought it would be initially.
Also the addition of more colors on the toolbar is not ideal for me since I just like to work with three colors to keep everything simple and clean (the UI also feels more cluttered to me for some…

Pen thickness changing easier?
Maybe an option of hold pressing on the thickness button and the ability to change the width by sliding pen up and down (to select the strokes), so we wouldn't have to open the stroke button every 2 seconds for switching?
