Zoom window cuts off at bottom of page
The Zoom window downtown allow you to write all the was to the bottom of the page :(

Sometimes the rubber animations froze heavily, it really affects the user experience, especially when taking notes
This problem seems not a special case, I found lots of same cases online.

Stop the lag with the Apple Pencil 1
It has been starting for a week now and I keep getting to fed up trying to make a circle or a "C". Please fix this issue ASAP.

Bug Report, wrong pdf order
I really love working with GoodNotes, especially when I mark my eBooks and PDFs.
Those have often a length of more than 200 pages.
Sadly, it often happens that (even though the order is correct in the „miniature-view“) some pages appear in a different order.
The problem can be fixed with a reset of the app but it’s very annoying I have to say.1 voteThis seems to be a bug that we need to investigate. standard shapes, dashed line, arrows, improve circle, snap into lines in template, change template of all plages
Highlighter should highlight below text
Please have a shape option like in illustrator, u click what shape u want and u get the shape, also I really need dashed lines
Also Circles should have those anchor points at top, left, right and bottom. Current circles have those points at random places (I added an image which explains better) and also I would like to have an option to draw circle by specifying the center (tap at the required center point and draw out the radius to get a circle)

When converting to PDF, the highlight shoudn’t overlay the text
In the app, highlighters are perfect, they lay behind the text, making it pop, and still doesn’t bother when reading it over again. When I want to convert my notes to share it with others, or printing it, PDF looks the best, sharpest. But after converting it, the highlight lays on top of the note making it less nice, and less readable. Is there any chance that we can still enjoy the notes as nice and sharp, even after converted to a PDF?
1 voteIt looks like it is a bug in the app as it should normally look the same on exported PDFs too. Please try to use either “editable” or “flattened” as the PDF data format when you export the document to see if it would change the output when sharing it. If that doesn’t work, please send the original notebook in GoodNotes format to support@goodnotes.com so that we can investigate. Thanks.

Tap and Hold to Zoom
To be able to tap the screen and hold so that the zoom window opens with whatever you are pointing at.
This would be particularly useful if you're using Goodnotes to fill out a form then you would be able to go directly to the field you wanted to write in instead of having to open the zoom window and then having to slide the document back to the part of the page you were looking at.

Fix back bracket [] for shape tool
Before the update for the shape tool, it was easy to draw brackets, now it take 2-3 try each time to try to draw them...

Bug fixes for the cursor with Apple MagicKeyboard
Always when using Goodnotes 5 on my Ipad with my Apple Magic Keyboard and its new „cursor“ feature, the app lags and i can‘t seem to move my cursor around and it works perfectly on all other apps.

With the new update that was added there is increased lag while taking notes.
It would be helpful if this is fixed ASAP as this takes away form the note taking experience.

Please fix severe performance issues
with the most recent update, GoodNotes has become completely unusable. It starts up and shows some not about reorganizing the data to improve performance for over a minute. After that, it is still unusably slow. Changing to a folder takes up to 20 seconds. Opening the overview of of a large file about the same time. Productive work has become almost impossible.
Importing a new 900k File takes over a minute.
Also, replication with the cloud has become even more unreliable. Replicating a 900k file takes several minutes with now way for the user to actually influence or prioritize replications.…

Merge with notability.
They have many features yall lack and vice versa. Together y’all would be unstoppable.

It would be great if you could look through the forum and add your votes to the features that have already been suggested. If you don’t find a specific feature you’re missing, please add it yourself as it will give others the option to vote and comment on your submission.

Autocorrect slightly tilted horizontal lines
currently when i draw a straight line across the screen it remains slightly tilted. Could you make an option that enables autocorrection for small angles so that lines can be 0, 10, 20, 30.... degrees ?

scroll
It seems that GoodNotes has recently changed something with scroll on the iPad version. Now, whenever I swipe up/down quickly, it moves so quickly that I end up not knowing which page I'm on. Please change it back to the old scrolling speed.

Shortcut Bug
When I open the app over the shortcuts app to directly open a document, the app works fine. But when I want to close the document with the X button, the app crashes every time. iPad with iPadOS 14.0.1.

Lag input and frequent jumps
Although there is a standing issue where the eraser will be lag, it was not particularly bothering me so I was fine. This was till the latest update where I had issues with writing as well. My input would not register and appeared as a shape (line) a few seconds later. Additionally, goodnotes would also abruptly jump me to many pages above or below which took me time to scroll back to my original position. Super disruptive.
I really like goodnotes and I prefer it over notability when it comes to taking my university lecture notes. So would appreciate if…

Use System-wide color picker in iOS 14
iOS 14 introduced a new system-wide color picker (similar to macOS) that allows you to save colors to use across apps and includes an eye dropper tool. This standard color picker should replace the custom one currently used in GoodNotes.
