Ability to quickly duplicate current page
As part of my workflow, I am quite regularly wanting to insert a new page with just parts of what is on on my current page.
There are two ways I can accomplish this at the moment:
Open the multi-page view, tap edit, select the current page, tap copy, tap done, tap +, tap the + in a circle where I want to insert the page, tap "Paste Copied Pages", tap done, select my newly inserted page, use the lasso tool to select the parts of the pages I do not want to keep, and delete them.
Use the lasso tool to select only the content on the page that I want to keep, copy it, insert a new page (with the drag gesture if my current page is the last page, otherwise from the plus-in-a-circle menu in the toolbar), then paste in the copied content.
Option 2 is seemingly simpler, because it has quite a few less steps, but depending on the content of the current page, it can actually be quite difficult for me to select only the content I want to keep, as opposed to selecting what I want to remove. For this reason I often find myself having to use Option 1, which as you can see is a lot of steps, just to duplicate a page.
Ideally, it would be awesome to have a one-step option to duplicate the current page and insert it after (or before) the current page. I could see this as an additional option in the plus-in-the-circle menu in the toolbar as something like "Duplicate Page Above/Below", as a nice companion to the "Add Page Above/Below".
Such an option would dramatically reduce the number of steps required to complete my workflow as described in Option 1.
Thanks :)

I'll add my own use case to this.
I use one of my Notebooks to keep track of things I'm working on. As the day moves along I'll add new items and "checkmark" completed ones.
At the start of the next day I'll go into the MultiPage View, scroll down to the bottom and press "duplicate". I'll then go on to remove checked items, sort the remaining ones and get to work.
My idea to optimize this workflow would be to add an option when "dragging the page to the left" to not only offer "pull to add page" but also perhaps "pull even further to duplicate the current page", or similar.
Thanks.

Whitin the "add extra page" submenu, this feature could easily be added to the list of templates.

Yes. A long push and drag or something if the like would make duplicating much easier. Especially because I want to do it all the time in goodnotes.

This is the one place where I prefer Paper to GoodNotes for use in my classroom.

I thoroughly agree. I count 10 steps to duplicate a page. Not the best use of one's time! I suggest a long press and drag on the page to duplicate.
