Moving pages between notebooks instead of copy, paste and delete manually
To move pages between Notebooks, you have to copy and paste the respective page. After that you have to go back and delete the page from the original place in order to avoid double pages. Please ad a function to just move pages from one Notebook to another.

Yes Please! If you could make the process the same as moving a notebook from one folder to another that would be outstanding. Select page > select move > choose notebook > Done!
Use case: I use an “inbox” notebook for my daily note taking (thing GTD). I then process those notes into my system and would like to archive the in a specified “archive” notebook.
Thank you!

I don't know whether this feature is new, but I am able to move the page from one notebook to the other by the following steps:
Open two notebooks in parallel-> Open Outline->Drag and drop the page needed from one note to the other.

To move one or several pages from one note to another I have to make too many steps:
1. Copy pages
2. Go to another note
OR: create new one
3. Paste copied pages
3.1 If new note - delete empty page
4. Go back to initial note
5. Delete those pagesPlease, make it possible with 1-2 clicks. Thank you in advance

Option to simply move a page between notebooks. Urgently needed! Please make this happen.
At the moment it seems the only way to do it is to copy a page & paste it into a new notebook, then to go back and delete the original. Surely there is a simpler approach!
It would be great to drag & drop a thumbnail page between notebooks. At the very least I would expect to see drop-down option to move between notebooks.

Yup - this is an essential capacity. No idea of why it is made to be such a pain: export as a pdf, then import as a pdf - all functionality is lost.

This idea have been requested from 2016
But not being developed

We require the move feature desperately in Goodnotes. I need to create notebooks based on existing pages on a notebook. The process of copying and pasting and then deleting the old is a very tedious and roundabout process. Either in the scroll mode , the user should be allowed to mark pages OR in the thumbnail view the user should have option of MOVE along with COPY

Now, with the new iPadOS we can open two files at the dame time un solitária view and then we can move Pages between notebooks, we just Have to delete them after too, I would just sugest an option of asking after we do that if we want to keep the pages at the original notebook or delete them from there

As an add on to this idea, for new consults I have a three page template which I have to add one page at a time. It would be easy just to select three and append them

Sounds like 2 features are being requested by users:
1 - MOVE: The ability to simply move a page to another notebook.
2 - ARCHIVE: The ability to mark a page as archived or retired - ie no “active” content on the page. Provide the option to “grey” out, or “hide” these pages. -

This is a very big feature request for me. I typically "archive" my daily planners to an "Archive" notebook. The process without the ability to move a page directly from one notebook to another is pretty tedious.
This is one of the more noticeable speed bumps for an otherwise effectively designed app.
Hoping that this near the top of the list of coming improvements. :D

Maybe we could add in an option to select pages and “move” them to another notebook. Thanks!

And move note books into a master notebook.

This is so necessary. Under thumbnail view, I would like to highlight selected pages, and then export to new notebook. At the moment, I can highlight pages, go to a new notebook. Pick a "dummy" sheet that I don't need. Go to thumbnails. Paste copied pages. Delete the dummy sheet. Go back to the original document. Delete the highlighted pages. Inefficient and honestly surprising considering how good this app is otherwise.

I think you can forget the likelihood of this app being developed any further. Looking through the requests that are marked 'Started' they are all at least 1 Year old and some are over 2 Years old.

Completely agree! Can’t believe this simple function isn’t in this app. Please add it pronto! People have been complaining about it for years now.

I have wasted A LOT OF TIME trying to find this missing feature. I was just "sure" this basic capability must be in there somewhere!!
Who among us has not discovered a 'better way' to organize our notes only after beginning to use this great app? Please add this oversight. -

This feature started more than a year ago. Is there any ETA for this feature?

Yes, just figured out that in the pages view, you can select and copy pages but not to a different notebook. I’m the same as others, I just open the app, slide to a new page, then re-arrange pages and notebooks later.

You can merge separate PDF files (however many files you select) into one PDF file with the app called PDF Expert. It's great! https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pdf-expert-by-readdle/id743974925?mt=8
