I'm using GoodNotes for years on my iPads and Mac and I'm realy waiting for a Windows version to have a sync on my workplace computer as well.
But as long as the Windows app is a separate app and noz synced with the iOS version, it is absolutely useless to me.Please add the sync between the Windows and iOS version asap.

This would be amazing. I take notes on my iPad, but my main computer is a windows PC. Being able to access my notes on my computer without having to download and email them to myself would mitigate so much frustration.

I would use a Windows versions additionally to the iPad version.
Mainly so I can easily import pdfs and other files directly per drag and drop without uploading them to cloud first and to better organise folders, files and pages in notebooks (multiple page rearrange would be great).
Also, when doing extended research the larger monitor size and using a mouse and real keyboard are more convenient. But I absolutely hate using a different note taking app when working on PC and than having to juggle notes between apps. grrrrr.
Also on Windows PC I would rather type, so improved typesetting would be great.
I don’t think functionality on Windows/MacOS and mobile OSs need to be exactly the same. I wouldn’t need handwriting input for Windows, but rather advanced typesetting and conversely only basic typesetting on iPad but all the handwriting goodness. -

The use case is really simple. I have ipad and iphone but using windows laptop.
Would love to have all notes in all three devices/platforms and be able to edit them etc and automatically synch them -

I’m looking to go back to school and I want to take my notes on my iPad. I do all of my homework and tests on my pc. I’d love being able to have my notes and homework all in one central location on my computer

To use GoodNotes I paid 8.99€ to GoodNotes and 1,064.43€ to Apple. Guys, you are a money printing machine for Apple.
Since two years I'm using GoodNotes for all my studying and everything else. As a viewer & annotation tool for PDFs and Powerpoints, for taking notes, for creating flashcards, signing documents,...everything. I didn't buy a single piece of paper in the last 2 years.
Before starting to study I had to decide how I wanted to study. On paper or digitally and if digitally then how exactly? GoodNotes or Notability on
an Apple device or OneNote on Windows (OneNote surely is the best option available for Windows - but it's trash compared with GoodNotes). My choice was GoodNotes + iPad + Apple pencil. And that's the same for about 80% of my fellow students. The iPads' market share is a result of GoodNotes' market share - not the other way around. You guys gotta understand your worth!
Because writing essays on an iPad is highly impractical I bought a Windows 2-in-1 Laptop with traditional keyboard too. If I could have used GoodNotes on that device I wouldn't have spent 1,000€ on an iPad. And even if GoodNotes, or only the Windows version of GoodNotes wouldn't have been 8.99€ but 199€ it still would have been a hell of a good deal.
I think you really need to understand that the huge value your app creates could actually be captured by GoodNotes not Apple if you went multi-plattform.
If I were Mircosoft (or HP or anyone of them) I'd be offering you a lot of money to go multi-plattform. So if you aren't sure whether it's a good investment, maybe just ask them to pay for development in order for them to be able to gain back market share...

Also desperately want this on windows for surface pro. I need surface for work and study for things iPad can’t do but hate sacrificing GoodNotes.

I highly second what Cassandra Wenham said: due to workplaces often limiting usage to windows devices, it would be great to have this app available on windows.
Would instantly buy it, too in addition to ipad version. -

Due to work needs, I only have a windos laptop. When I go out, I need to bring a computer and a ipad. It's so bad. Please bring it on windows !!!

Certain organisations are making it harder and harder to use Apple devices for work purposes and GoodNotes is an integral part of how I carry out my work. Would be great if it was available to use on Windows to make the transition between platforms easier. There really is nothing else like it (at the same standard) available on Windows. Also in a faculty that has multiple platforms in use it would make collaboration amongst the staff easier as well.

I need an option to upload files to good notes from windows. When I upload to a good notes folder on google drive . Good notes is not showing those files in browser.

If not, then just make a website where we can go to view our notes

Just noticed that this was asked in 2016 and another feature over 10k votes from 2014 haven't been implemented so i guess they never will. For windows users who need a good note taking app i recommend nebo: https://www.microsoft.com/store/productId/9NBLGGH4NLB0

it would make working on one app much more easier to have all your notes on ur PC too, which would increase productivity and my personal usage of the app on my iPad a lot

Following the omnifocus model to offer a web based solution for those of us that use Windows at work would be great.

This feature is a no-brainer considering cloud-based technology is almost/always a norm nowadays in mobile device applications so please do consider this as top feature priority not just solely for Windows but platform-agnostic. My specific use case is take notes primarily on ipad but be able to update it via a different channel e.g. browser on Windows where I can attach articles/clippings from web content and have that reflect back on my ipad to augment my notes.
I will not mind paying more than its current price point or perhaps for a separate and "upgraded" product offering for folks who have specific need for this that way other and potential customers who have no need for such feature can stay with the current pricing scheme. I'd really like to get out of OneNote however they do provide this capability so I'm flip-flopping between the two.
I understand that this feature has been requested for some time now, please do advise if this feature is in the works or part of the roadmap/vision of the product and when can we expect this to come to fruition.
