It's getting worse. I've been forced to "nuke and pave" GoodNotes on my iPad 3x in the past week, and I'm worried that I've lost some important notes along the way. It will DOWNLOAD everything just fine, but the iPad refuses to upload anything.

PLEASE MAKE A RELIABLE SYNC SOLUTION YOUR #1 PRIORITY!

Not true, I have the same reply for the las one year. I will leave soon this application. In fact it looks like the main problem is from the iPad's version. The sync with iCloud is ok with the iPhone and the MacBook.
OneNote from Microsoft improved well and I think I will migrate to this one, and it is also compatible with all apple devices + PC....

This is ridiculous - cloud sync seems to be a no brainer for a lot of other famous and frequently downloaded apps. However Goodnotes is not able to solve it? Or at least not in due time.

Guys -> hurry up! Or otherwise people will just stop using Goodnotes. And by the way -> suggesting to back up in different places is not the solution to the problem. THE PROBLEM is seamless collaboration between devices! That is what people need these days. Nothing more nothing less!

And please provide a due date as to when to fix this? The message from the Moderator is from Jan 2017 -> a quarter year later ... NOTHING?!? When is the planned release ... and please no evasive answers. It is just software and not rocket science.

This is the most useful writing app. But the broken iCloud sync is a major impediment. iPad Pro and Pencil are the ideal hardware for your app so please don't just shift to other platforms.

Be respectful of your huge apple customer base and fix the sync issue as a matter of urgency. Please.

I feel disappointed.

it's 1.1.11v and there's still a iCloud Sync problem! I bought this app for Mac and I thought I could work simultaneously with my Mac and iPad, but the sync in my iPad never ends. I work on my Mac and then tray to work on my iPad and, because the sync never ends, I cant open the PDF file in the iPad... So, if you don't fix this problem, this App doesn't work for anything!!

It's been months, and GoodNotes is still having iCloud problems.

I bought the app three days, and my notebooks are only being uploaded after I restart the device. Then the app syncs ONCE and I have to restart again.

I'll leave off getting this now I see the iCloud syncing doesn't work

Oh no ! I m buying today Osx and iOs and not sync very disapointed. Put the possibility to store in folder dropbox at least.

Even with the new update with version 4.11.8 the sync problem always exist!

A great note taking app essentially ruined by the shockingly bad iCloud syncing. I've spent hours trying to get all my files into iCloud using the mac and iPad apps and still there are massive amounts of documents which will not go into the cloud. Auto backup does not properly sync all files to my OneDrive either. In addition, it seems that in order for anything to update, the iPad needs to be sitting unlocked in the folder applicable for endless amounts of time while files upload, which is simply not realistic when working on the go, especially if multiple new files are created at the same time. It's been about 4 months of this issue now, I implore the developers to release some kind of patch, even just to improve the issue in the short term for both the mac and iPad app, if it is not possible to release a fully fixed version. All my other apps are completely floorless in their syncing and it's extremely disappointing that GoodNotes, which is stellar in other areas, has this almost dealbreaking problem.

i had this issue with my iPad - but used the workaround to fix it. however, now i have the issue with my mac -- and there is no workaround article for the mac system for when the up arrow never going away. can someone please let me know how to workaround this issue for the mac?

please add sync over webdav and dropbox

icloud is so far a no go

This is HUGE and extremly bad problem!! I almost give up to use Goodnote.
Very disappointing as a big fan of this App
