I agree with Joe. Love good notes not it absolutely needs multiple tab support!

This post has been flagged as "Planned" for 3 YEARS now...Are the developers still working on this product???! What happened to making your users happy?!?! I see many updates to the App, yet so many features requested in this blog are still not added despite being listed as "Planned". Why bother suggesting anything and voting for ideas if the developers are ignoring us anyways...Very disappointed.

2-5 Tabs would be amazing and helpful for all kinds of university applications!

It would be great to have the implementation of tabs, just like safari. I use the app daily as an engineering student and it would be great to load a homework assignment in one tab and hand write my solution in another. In this way, switching back and forth between the two would be painless. In the current version, I have to go back to the collection and select the assignment document every time I need to look for any detail. It would improve a great deal the usage of this already amazing app.

So... Looks like this a pretty high priority! I understand there's probably some sort of RAM limitation you're working with (one of the reasons I was nervous about buying an iPad). If it give any motivation, your app is the most heavily used app I own, bar none. This feature would even be worth a further in-app purchase.

So you can switch more easy between different pdf files like at pdf expert.

Often I need to look at two documents from different categories at once and going back and fourth between folders gets confusing and frustrating, having tabs at the top of the window will make that easier

For uni readings, to have a split screen where I can read a PDF and take notes directly into a notes page without switching would be the most ideal scenario

Please add this ability... I will be able to get rid of GoodReader if you add this. I like to use the app during company walks and I am required to have several pdf reports available as reference. Opening up one at a time just does not work.

Please give us tabs so we can have two or more PDFs or notebooks open at the same time, or please give us a date by which we will have this. It would make a great great app even better

Pls. Give us a state of the art way to switch between several documents - such as Tabs! Switching thruogh the categories is just not an option. I saw this has been planned since jan.13!! Would be great if this finally gets done: its a MUST!! thanx

Yes, tabs would be great. I'm currently reading in another app to swipe back and forth, but I lose the ability to annotate, lasso and copy from the text to notes and back. Copy and paste between tabs, with a three finger swipe would be a great addition to the workflow.

Please consider to add also the possibility of splitting the window if we want to see two documents at the same time.... Thank you very much

PLEASE!!! This is really necessary. When I recommend this type of app to colleagues, I have to tell them this is a weakness in Goodnotes and that they should look at iAnnotate if this feature is really important to them. If you would build in tabs, Goodnotes would be perfect.

Please add tabs for quick switching between documents! Really important for students.

8 months later and we still don't have tabs. This is ridiculous. I'm going back to iAnnotate.

Efficient switching between documents would be awesome. Right now it's pretty tedious when working with multiple documents.
