Add pptx and docx to readable format (similar to ppt and doc)
Office 2007 should be supported as well - especially in the paid version

Until this new feature comes out, here's something you might want to know:
Most apps have an "open in ..." list as an option to open files in other apps, but if it is a Word file, then Good Notes won't be in that "open in" list for you to open it, you’ll need to convert the word file into PDF first. For example, your word docs in your Dropbox app or Google Drive can’t be opened directly in Good Notes.
However, I just found out Apple’s Pages allows Good Notes to open words docs without converting them into PDF beforehand.
Step 1: download the Pages app on your iPad
Step 2: turn on your PC, open a webpage in your internet browser, go to iCloud.com, upload some of your word docs into the "Pages" (under iWork) on that website.
Step 3: grad your iPad and wait for Pages to sync. When your docs are all downloaded in Pages, click the "edit" button at the top right corner,
Step 4: select one of the word docs from the main deck, then click the button at the top-left corner, select “open in another app”, a window will pop up and ask you to choose a format, select either Word or PDF.
Step 5: the Page will create a document in seconds, then click on the big blue button “Choose App”, there you go, you’ll see “Open in GoodNotes”
So, Dropbox, Google Drive don’t allow GoodNotes to open word documents, but interestingly Pages does! So far, it’s the only app which seems to be “compatible” with GoodNotes in terms of opening Word Docs. -

Office 2010, too.

This is the most important addition. You need to be able to create a PDF from MS Word and PowerPoint. I would also like to transfer to IBook.
