Just a way of convenience, could add a links page towards credible website where templates are made (free &paid)
If templates created by said youtubers or other creators, could ask for their permission to include link towards their templates and also include the youtubers their credit, includence through social media link, youtube account, etc -

Probably add a fill color option when create outline of image that is handrawn, can drag a highlighter color in order to fill that outline, a function like the procreate filling option

A fill to fill in drawings and diagrams would be great, what would be amazing is if when you wrote handwritten notes there was a feature that converted them into specific fonts on the page as you wrote.

Wait...we still can't fill in a shape to make it solid?!

I'd prefer to have the fill within shapes to be solid rather than transparent. A pencil tool and the ability to change the opacity of pens would be great for sketching and for modifying diagrams where you don't want to cover over the underlying image.

I agree with many of the comments below – a way to fill organic shapes with a color would be very helpful.

Would be nice if you can change the level of the transparency by dragging a bar of some sort so it can be transparent to completely filled

The fill is highlighted though, not opaque. Not really completed until it is opaque. This is no more useful than the highlighter tool. This would be useful if implemented intuitively, to occlude parts of images so the user might be able to drag them away while quizzing themself on the parts of the image.

A great feature in GN5, but still missing what would expedite the process of highlighting in shapes ... would be incredible to have the fill feature for closed objects. Alternatively, as others have suggested, it might be easy to also use a lasso type tool to draw the area you wish to be filled with color, especially highlighter/background type color.

I appreciate the addition of this feature in GoodNotes 5, but it needs some tweaking. Using A3 paper, this feature only works consistently for about a two-inch wide section. Beyond that, anything I try to bound in a rectangle is automatically converted to a straight line as is incorporated in the shapes tool.

Hi GoodNotes team, good job on the release 5. I was really expecting this fill feature. Can you implement anytime near future? If not, please say that here, so I atleast know i have to use another app for drawing and import those into goodnotes.

Since we already have a lasso tool, this would be soooo easy. All we would need is a fill option in the menu thats popping up when long pressing on a selected area. Even the colour picker is already implemented (for the change of ink colour)
