Dotted lines ASAP!!!!!!

I agree with both Greg and Alex, your app needs to have an option of dotted and dashed lines. Another great feature will be to add stencils and a scale/ruler but that’s maybe pushing it.

Wholeheartedly agree. Would help so much instead of me having to partially erase lines and switch back to my normal eraser settings

Include options where when drawing a straight line (using the auto shapes feature), you’re able to choose different dashed lines. Saves the trouble of going back and erasing/using white pen to make straight dashed lines.

SINCE 2013 this has been ask. And WHAT ??! This feature not yet in Goodnotes ? It would be very useful for student!

I strongly disagree, the shape/line recognition is NOT awesome. (Try the one they have on notability= mind blown)
Other than that I agree. Dotted lines would be awesome too.

Straight dotted lines and free drawn dotted lines would be a huge improvement with customizable spacing

I am an undergraduate civil engineering student, recently bought an iPad Pro 2018 for making notes and view lecture notes. Goodnotes 5 is great, but not really engineering friendly, especially when I want to draw some random technical illustrations, line tool does not seems cooperating, where the end stroke will snap to other place even when the option is unchecked. Also, hope that dotted line tool will be added, and the eraser size can be diameter customised.

If you could add braces as one of the shapes that would be amazing!

Is this app still being developed? Very surprised this hasn’t been implemented despite the first suggestion having been from 2013.

Graphs would be so much easier to draw with a tool that enables you to draw dashed lines or dotted lines.
Up till now we have to draw a line and erase some of the spots to make it a dashed line, which is not handy.
This is very basic and GoodNotes lacks of this feature in my opinion.

Having straight lines is awesome and the line tool works pretty good. However, when drawing a graph for example, sometimes you don’t just need different colours for your lines, you need different styles- dashed lines, dotted lines, dash+dots lines etc. I imagine there are more complex tasks than this and it would be an easy and very useful addition to GoodNotes 5!
