Include a nice "laser" pointer in presentation mode.

Goodnotes is my weapon of choice for teaching, since I'm able to annotate and zoom right on my slides, during the presentation. Nevertheless, having to juggle two pens (laser pointer + stylus) at the same time is cumbersome and often induces me to humorous mishaps during class, which distracts the attention. I really like Apple's Keynote laser pointer. Why not make something like it!?

    can you make it so that we can adjust the size of the laser pointer?. i find the size is too big at present. Thank you.

    Indeed, a pointer would be such a blessing when using GN in a teaching situation.

    Oh, one other comment. The pointer doesn't have to be skeuomorphic like Apples iPad Keynote app. Rather, it could (and probably should) be just something that allows the presenter to have a clearly visible pointer that doesn't draw ink when pointing. Something very slightly animated would probably be nice to ensure that it is visible on top of all backgrounds.

    Yes, a pointer (that doesn't draw but just points) would be a fantastic addition. I'm also a teacher who uses this regularly, so this would be fantastic!

    I would like to agree with this excellent suggestion. It would be very useful to add a pointer option to the pen/highlighter tools. Simply allow an arrow to go where the stylus goes without 'drawing' a trail behind it. It would be hugely useful for teaching!
