Handwriting and text rotation
I love taking notes and drawing in GoodNotes and it would be great if I could rotate the objects I've drawn on the page. We can already change the color and scale the object, so it would be nice to be able to rotate these objects.
Rotation of handwritten objects is possible in GoodNotes 5. Select the objects with the lasso tool and tap on “resize”. You’ll also find the option to rotate the selection.

Rotate does go naturally with move/resize.

I would like to have the picture to be edited after attached on the page. Like resize, rotate, or trim off.

Agree with Bex -- this would be a major improvement when annotating PDFs. Would also make it far easier to reconfigure notes written while using the palm rest feature -- not always as convenient to write at angles, so being able to rotate text would solve this issue.

Rotate is important for me. Good notes is really quick and clean in use but missing the ability to rotate sections. I use notability for my sketchnoting and would like to consider goodnotes as a replacement due to its superior speed and simplicity in use

When use lasso tool to select object or writing, it allow user to just change color and resizing. Could you please let user to "rotate" and change line size so it will be great. For a sample, after wrote something may I need to comeback and make some word bolder, with lasso tool now it's not allow to do that.

I'll add my vote to including an ability to rotate items (hand-written text or hand-drawn objects). I've taken notes that include graphs, boxes, triangles with labels running along the side. It would be nice to write the label and then rotate it to fit along the edge of the graph, triangle, box, etc.

This is a major fault - currently you import a PDF and annotate text, say highlight, add a few underlines and draw lines near part of input. Now you need to rotate the page - when you do the original PDF text turns, but the annotations and lines do not - so all the highlighting and marking is now in the wrong place - so it has to be done again! Hopeless.

Enable lasso selections and/or recognized shapes to be made into images so that they can be rotated, duplicated, etc. I find myself needing to do this a lot when using as a whiteboard.

This is one of very few things I miss from Notability, but Good notes way of resizing objects are better.

This is one of my favorites productivity tool in my iPad but need to be improved 1. The ability to rotate selected item in different angles 2. The ability to saved icons that you draw in a personal library for future usess

I agree that their should be an ability to rotate files (i.e. PDF's). I am attending university and I have multimple professors that send out reading, reports and what not to our classes in PDF form, I would like the ability to rotate them so that i could read them porperly and beable to markup notes as necessary

So you dont have to jump between your notes and the pdf..
It would be nice if you are able to place it like pictures but on all pages at once -

I have tried using goodnotes to draw rudimentary diagrams (protein pathways, etc...) and have found that sometimes I need to make minor rearrangements to the figures after drawing them. Unfortunately, this sometimes includes rotating them (or making a mirror image), which is currently not possible.
Please add the function to rotate/flip selected objects like they do in microsoft powerpoint and microsoft word. It would make drawing diagrams much more convenient!

We need some way to put vertical notes, eg. on pdf's margin
