Handwriting and text rotation
I love taking notes and drawing in GoodNotes and it would be great if I could rotate the objects I've drawn on the page. We can already change the color and scale the object, so it would be nice to be able to rotate these objects.
Rotation of handwritten objects is possible in GoodNotes 5. Select the objects with the lasso tool and tap on “resize”. You’ll also find the option to rotate the selection.

I would like to be able to select handwritten notes, textboxes and pictures with the lasso and the be able to rotate manually.

We need some way to put vertical notes, eg. on pdf's margin

Adding this tools the App would be much more usefull in order to use it as a sketch tool usable for a first approach 'in loco' during a project idea development.

if you want to add an Picture or cut out a text an insert it in a page, you have the oppertunity to do things like change size, color, delete or something like that. And a good addition is that we can rotate pictures and texte.

This feature would also be very useful for geometry and algebra homework assignments and instructions.
For me, as a teacher, being able to rotate objects is a must have feature. I've been really wanting to stop using 'note anywhere' (for various issues I have with it). Your app is the closest so far; being able to rotate objects would make me gladly start using your app for all the doc work I do on a daily basis. I love your user interface and how nice it is to write with my adonit stylus!

Rotating text boxes after writing also, please. Useful for annotating my students' essays that are not double spaced, and where the only available space is the margins.

When using the camera, It would be great to be able to choose between landscape or portrait modes, right now the program makes you rotate the ipad and only functions correctly with portrait style photos. When I try to take a landscape photo the camera does not rotate for it so I am just guessing what I will actually get. Also when taking photos I noticed that the preview window does not show all of what the photo will actually get so I am also guessing as to how much I will get in the actual photo.

I agree, I work a lot on drawings and need to be able to turn them.

I would love this!! I write notes all over the page and in all directions. Would love to change the angle of the zoom window without changing the orientation of my tablet. That can be very tricky!!

When sketching ideas and annotating them is is often useful to be able to rotate a part of the image or text. Mirror allows half the sketch to be drawn and the other half duplicated easily. This type of functionality would be available in products like powerpoint for example.

I agree with this one as well. Arbitrary rotation is highly relevant for teaching.

Another nice capability would be to straighten text. For example, you could define a line (or curve) underneath that would shift the letters such that the bottom of each letter rests on that line (or curve).

This would also be very useful for text notes. I often write at an angle and would like to be able to straighten text without having to rewrite.

I'd like to be able to write on a .pdf document sideways. Palm guard doesn't rotate. Doesn't seem you can rotate text. Being able to write notes in margin sideways would be nice.
