Handwriting and text rotation
I love taking notes and drawing in GoodNotes and it would be great if I could rotate the objects I've drawn on the page. We can already change the color and scale the object, so it would be nice to be able to rotate these objects.
Rotation of handwritten objects is possible in GoodNotes 5. Select the objects with the lasso tool and tap on “resize”. You’ll also find the option to rotate the selection.

Is there really any chance in my lifetime that GoodNotes will add a rotate text box feature?
I've been waiting a long time. -

Would be an absolutely appreciated feature

Looked all over for a direct email, which I would have preferred, but since that was not offered will just post it here.
First, I have used and owned nearly every note application in the iTunes library. The following is not a critique to your product, which I honestly has been a joy to use, test and experiment with. Obviously do to the power and elegance of the app, you/your team our outstanding programmers. Because of that I see opportunities to elevate your program to another level or three.
Below are what I have come up with from my initial pass. Any ideas I think are significantly more beneficial, I have gone back and highlighted with three *** at the front. I would also like to suggest several ways to further monetize the app. I was reluctant to purchase at 7.99 and if I had not found many videos of people using it, which highlighted features I find outstanding (tabbed multiple open documents), and active hyperlinks in imported pdf support. Amazing! But the reason I suggest further monetization options is that I am interested, from a selfish point, in your continued success. Please don't consider subscriptions, they tend to kill products. My recommendation is digital consumables and tiered features.
1. ***Make it so can insert own hot spots and link to pages, link should be to the page descriptor not to the number, that way when page is moved it will still link to that page not the position in the notebook. Would be awesome if these links could be different shapes, and have a snap to shape option.
2. Direct email does not seem to exist, had planned to send this out how to send, this way is probably to long for suggestions. As support page as it is configured only way I could do so. Support page does not give you an email option when none of the suggestions solve the problem.
3. Categories view, would like the move up or down to custom reorder, in an order of categories that I would like (maybe a switch in settings to enable this feature.)
4. Wow the default covers are ugly. I really think you should implement in-app purchase for newer and more traditional covers. Maybe simplify the default covers.
5. When loading from my Onedrive it always seems to go to the root, can it be setup to remember last directory accessed or maybe a favorite option.
6. ***The pen, ink selection and styles are pretty limited, as I am sure you are picking up new users do to Goodnotes having pdf support that includes hyperlinks within the notebook.
a. Noteshelf is hands down the best at this, but if also included some stroke options to give calligraphic like options, would be tremendous. Again would be willing to pay extra for say a Pro-Set of drawing options (and if could do something with Coptic marker like effects and water color would elevate to an even higher level.
7. ***Morpholio trace, Notes HD I think both support stencils. This could be monetized in two different ways. The ability to create a custom stencil like Morpholio is one options. And having a pre-created library bundles similar to what Notes HD has.
8. I would like to see an option to free-rotate a page when I am drawing, I don't know if this is even possible, and most of the time would not want that behavior, but if in drawing modes greatly improves what can be done.
9. ***As a right handed person I tend to write and draw with my right hand, and tap undo with my left, strangely your app is the opposite. Maybe an options to switch with button that would not be used so much maybe close up writing, or shapes.
10. Zoom window icon was counter-intuitive, looks like a pen on a page, maybe a pen over a magnifying glass.
11. Also in close up you can change color but not change pen width
12. Plus no high-lighter in close up
13. Could not figure out what the icons that look like indents on top bar of close up window was. (finally realized these were the page margins).
14. The close up box itself seems to solid, the border could be thicker, and maybe dashed.
15. Also would like option to have undo button on the left side (for same reason as noted above)
16. Page advance and back on the close up window would be immensely handy.
17. The advance blue box being behind where you are rather than in front is confusing, I kept running to close to edge as I did not realize I was coming to the edge. (The close up option in Noteshelf is particularly well done. (it has a really nice feature to save several predefined pens, with different thicknesses, colors.) (NotesPlus has ability to alter the close up windows behavior when in close up mode - toggle auto advance off, change size of pen. Notablity can easily alter the advance box width.
18. Another neat feature of its close up writing mode has a visible guide which yours does as well(thought - guides that you could use to setup/mask borders.
19. Also really like the way Notablity deals with paper as well. Has a nice option to pick a background and then pick lines. (keep what you -

I also need to rotate any selected objects mentioned above: handwriting, text, images. GoodNotes becomes one of my design tools, and much productive...
Thanks Goodnotes -

not only the page should be rotated, but also the annotations on the same page as well.

Most needed feature! so glad to read about. In the course of developing this, please don't forget negativ scaling (or mirroring)…

Could you incorporate a rotation/trim/masking feature for any images/screenshots pasted into GoodNotes. This would be similar to what apple has in keynote when dealing with images you want to put into the slides. You could add the button to the lasso tool when lasso-ing and selecting an image then holding down your finger to bring up the pop up menu.
