Being able to manage audio clips as well as being able to jump to the recording with text notes like with hand written. I would also like to be able to import audio clips so for example I can import auido clips from a dictaphone or recordings that I have from other apps like voice memos app or notability.

It's always nice to have options that suit our specific needs. As for GoodNotes, adding voice notes would be a game-changer, giving users more flexibility.

goodnotes doesn't have proper laptop and desktop input the highlighter is touch based which means I cant highlight well and many things with the mouse well like I can do with pdfelement and other pdf editing apps
also woodnotes doesnt have audio recording feature which is must and needed as I dont know how long it will take for you to add it when all your competitors have it and linking of notes to other notes and to view the notes side by side

Even though there’s no recording function right now, it would give goodnotes a competitive advantage if users can add a timestamp next to notes/pdf when recording a lecture.
It could work with a specific tool (I use a grey marker for notability)

I bought all GoodNotes version, included the big change from version 4 to version 5, and I miss to have a recording/playing thing, or just allow to drag and drop notes from Apple’s native Voice Memos into GoodNotes, and able to play them.

At this moment, I use a lot native Apple notes because of that.
My workflow works with text, scribbles and voice memos.

But don’t make it like Notability one, allow to have voice memos like Apple notes do, intermingled with text an scribbles.

I completely agree with this comment. My career involves a lot of meetings and much note taking "on the fly". I'd really love to be able to record audio notes as I am leaving a meeting - notes to myself to listen to prior to the next meeting. EVERNOTE has had this feature for many years, but I do prefer Goodnotes to the product that Evernote offers. Except for the lack of audio notes in Goodnotes.

100% notability has changed their pricing plan, and they keep asking me if I want to upgrade and I hate it. I'd gladly switch to goodnotes full time but its gotta have voice recording for that to happen.

It would be great for us students who's attending physical and online classes to have that feature as we can record un-notable discussions whereas professors talks so fast that we can't take down notes so voice recording will be great
