We all need an implemented feature of audio recording that syncs with the written text!
More and more of your valuable customers will likely go to the competitor NOTABILITY...

I been using Goodnotes for soooo long and I absolutely love it but can we get the function to add recordings already!? Like I’m not even saying for it to be paired with the writing recognition as you speak like Notability, but surely it can’t be that hard to simply allow us to attach a voice recording or video to the page.

I been waiting patiently but it has been years and most goodnotes competition have the ability to add other things like videos (that are viewable), ability to have a link inserted onto a text, voice recording, and at the very least fix the text function. We should have something similar to word text not only little text boxes. I’m using this for notes so I need it to not be so hard to type.

Same here! I need the chance to directly insert audio!

First , I chooses GoodNotes but when i when I know the two things about Noteshelf is that-
1) we can recor d and also import voice record from file and also we can manage on page where we need .
2) and also individual file lock
Really this attract me and I switched on Noteshelf..

If GoodNotes also add this feature in his app then it will be great.

I would find it helpful if I could include a variety of media into my notes, one of them being audio recordings. These recordings may be imported from my device or recorded directly within GoodNotes. They can help enhance my notes and include elements that might not be easy to depict in writing. For example, if I decide to write a poem or song, it would be helpful if I could have an audio recording of it and the written version right next to each other. In another situation, I might have an audio clip of something that interests me and I may want to write my thoughts and feelings about it. Additionally, I could have a class lecture recording or maybe an educational podcast that I want to summarize.
I imagine there will be many more uses when combining both audio clips and text into one note. I would enjoy making a notebook where I can combine different media to express my ideas (e.g., audio, text, handwriting, images, gifs). This kind of tool would also help me organize study materials more effectively, which is something I really need.

I think the order is preserved somehow, maybe with layers. Even if we can’t see the ink move, if we could see the layers appear in order, that would be helpful.

There should be an ability to record, insert and export individual audio clips into and out of notes. It does not need to be in sync with text as with Notability.

your app is perfect, but it needs a voice recording feater

I like to record my writing which is a feature available in notability,so basically I could when I wrote each sentence in order ,it is deal bracket for me especially in math, so plsss add this feature

It's been more than 6 months they have said they are working on it... but instead they put other modes that are not requested as much as the audio recording... like presentation mode...
I am seriously thinking to switch if they treat customers who actually paid for the app but their opinions mean nothing.
