GoodNotes is useless for me without the ability to create chapters and titles. I want to use this like an actual journal by separating entries by months and dates. DayOne has this feature

Agree it would be great if pages automatically are labelled with the date they are created.

Page titles can be simulated using the outline feature of goodnotes 5, but the user experience would be even better if page titles are shown on the top of every page, and can be added/edited there directly.

To get a better overview of documents, it would be very helpful to give individual pages a title. This title would at least be visible in the "Thumbnails" view.

If you could add a title to bookmarks within a document, this would be a first workaround... but unfortunately this is no longer possible in GN5.

Bookmarks aren't pretty much the same? You can choose title for every page and then easily look throught it
