Users working in collaboration on the same document in real-time
It would be very helpful if GoodNotes had a feature that allows two or more users to work together on the same document and see the changes happening in real-time. Users would be able to work in collaboration on a document but there would also be a microphone feature that allows them to talk to each other as they are working together. I imagine the microphone would work like the one in Zoom, where users can turn it on when they want to speak but turn it off when they don't want to be heard.
The collaboration feature should allow at least two GoodNotes users to work together on a document. Of course, if you think that you can make it possible to invite more users for collaboration, such as 5-6 users, then that would be great for group projects. However, I would be very happy if I could collaborate with even a single user in real-time.
This would be great for tutoring purposes. It can also be a good option for friends who are working together on a project. In other words, this feature would make it possible for people to teach each other and work together on the same project. They would be able to communicate and work simultaneously in real-time. They might be far away from each other but they can still be very productive together. This feature would be especially useful at a time when many people are social distancing. Even at times like this, people still have work to do and they don't want to completely isolate themselves from others.
This feature alone would be a dream come true for me as a student.
Thank you :-)
Thanks for your patience. We have finished the real-time collaboration feature and it is now available to all users in shared documents. Changes should appear on other people’s devices as soon as you lift the pen.
