[Shapes] Improve Rotation
Why can't I rotate shapes? This is a very basic function of all note taking apps.
Why can't I make shapes smaller than an arbitrary vertical size threshold? You can make shapes as skinny as you want, but you cannot make them shorter than some random limit the team(?) decided was an appropriate size.
Not being able to make small shapes and/or rotate shapes at all severely limits my ability to take notes and make diagrams in classes like biochemistry and biology (which is probably a significant portion of your users, btw!).
This existed in 6... why would you remove the ability to rotate shapes or make them any size???? Who was asking for that?

Shape rotation has been fixed and available in today’s release. With the new v7.0.8 update, shapes created by drawing and holding with the pen tool can now be rotated.

This is the worst update ever. Do the team members really understand their users?
Now I can’t even rotate shapes, adjust diagonal lines, or draw polygons with more than five sides accurately. Every time I use it, I get frustrated. After drawing a shape, the tool automatically switches back to the lasso tool, and I can’t draw multiple shapes in a row anymore.
You can release new updates if you want, but why would you remove features that used to work perfectly before?
It’s unacceptable to make paying users suffer with such inconvenience. Please add an option to revert to the previous version.
If you can’t do that, I’ll have no choice but to move to another note app.I used to enjoy using Goodnotes comfortably every day, but this update suddenly ruined that peace. I’m truly disappointed and angry.

The new shape tool is pretty good, but they removed the possibility of making other shapes rather than circle, square and triangle (there is such option in the pen settings but it doesn't work after goodnotes 7 update, it used to work before). For my note taking i need to make shapes like pentagons or just overall snapping to more different shapes. Also, when you lasso a shape you cannot rotate it anymore, please fix this cause im seriously considering changing the app.

I can’t rotate shapes, navigating to writing implements is time consuming, my lines constantly jump to circles for some reason. Some of the changes are fine, but none were necessary.

The new shapes tool is just not good. We can’t rotate shapes anymore, it’s not accurate and we can’t make small shapes. The only decent part is the arrows, but those aren’t great either. They pretty much decide where they want to go, not where you put them.

Before the last update a few dates ago I could rotate shapes just fine after drawing them. Now it is impossible. I can just edit the shape. It is a basic feature and needs to come back ASAP!

This is an absolutely critical feature! I stopped using this app for Noteful which has this feature and I couldn't go back to GoodNotes without it being implemented. That along with a way better shape tool that lets out edit outlines/fill in shapes.

I am a subscriber and I have the most recent update, it's still not there. This needs to happen.
I was working on a map today and I wanted to rotate a line showing 0.1 mile, but I can't keep my hand steady enough to rotate without also changing the size of the selection. I have also worked on things like planning out a room before I move furniture and it's super annoying that I can't keep scale when rotating.
This is easily fixed by separating rotating from scaling.
I'm voting "Critical" on this and all the other posts asking for the same thing!
