AirTurn Compatibility
I play guitar on the music team for my church, and instead of using printed sheet music I would like to use digital music and an AirTurn bluetooth device to change pages/songs with my feet.
It would be great if GoodNotes supported AirTurn for going forward/back a page. Then I could scan my music into a notebook in GoodNotes and turn pages using my bluetooth pedal so my hands are free to play the instrument.
GoodNotes already supports this. You can flip pages using the arrow keys on any external keyboards. Make sure that your footpedal is correctly mapped to the arrow keys of the keyboard.

I use GoodNotes for the exact same purpose because I get different charts every week. I was able to use Douglas Johnson’s from 7/5/21 and it works beautifully. This is exactly what I needed.

Hi Anonymous. What you are trying to do is totally doable, but it requires you to re-map things in the Airturn Manager app. In my opinion it makes AirTurn just as compatible as any other app that works with AirTurn. Albeit, you have to perform a one-time configuration.
See the attached for how to do this. After performing these steps, I can turn pages just hitting the left/right pedal on my AirTurn BT-200 beautifully. It's game changing for doing music in my favorite note taking, annotation, and PDF app: Goodnotes!
I hope this helps you and others.

We’re no experts in using these bluetooth foot pedals but we know of many musicians who are using AirTurn pedals for turning pages in GoodNotes. Mapping the pedal to the right arrow keys on a keyboard has worked for them in all cases we know.

That's not how AirTurn compatibility works... Look at the app ChartBuilder.
