Exterior Facade Update Help
Hi All!
Hoping to get some idea on how we can update the exterior of this home.
It hasn't been touched since being built in the 60's. Home is in AZ and is west facing and is rectangular. Would like modern design with use of mixed materials - concrete/wood slats, breeze block. We are looking to enclose the carport.
I really love the simplicity of this mid century home w/ its flat/deep roof, large windows and thin columns: https://www.contemporist.com/renovated-mid-century-modern-house-sits-on-a-plateau-above-coachella-valley-in-california/.
Any input is appreciated. Thank you!

Maybe use Cedral to give it a fresher look? I am not a professional, but I had it installed on my house, and it looks much better than the old facade.
I am not sure whether it will be relevant to install Cedral here, but you can consult a https://tsl.uk professional about it. They are dealing with cases like this all the time, and maybe they will give you better advice on the topic than I can. I am unsure which color is better to choose in this case. I would make the house white, but you do you.
Also, I would remove those reddish things near the windows because I don’t like how they look.
