Code blocks
Many engineering, computer and data science, maths, and other technical degrees do a great deal of programming. I love writing all my notes in Goodnotes, but all my code snippets are all over the place. Sometimes I do try incorporate code blocks in my notes, but the process of screenshotting, cropping, and pasting is a hassle. Having a feature (even one that can be downloaded) would be a massive convenience for a lot of users. Just a basic block that can be inserted into a note that displays a filename space. The tools tab can be loaded with, say, three options of programming languages that can be conveniently switched between for correct syntax highlighting. Obviously, no error messages are needed as you're not compiling a program. This would be a really cool feature and help centralize my studying to one app.

I'm a Software Engineer and I like to put down some notes of interesting solutions, ideas, some learning material etc. While noting down them now in Vim, IntelliJ or MacOS notes, it would be amazing to benefit from this feature in GoodNotes as the information would be nicely organized with some screenshots etc.

It's great to hear that you enjoy using Goodnotes for writing your notes, but I can imagine how inconvenient it must be to deal with the process of screenshotting, cropping, and pasting code snippets into your notes.

I use goodnotes in my profession as an engineer. Code and code blocks are critical for my work. Having the ability to write and paste code blocks with monospace fonts is paramount.
