Infinite Canvas
The biggest pro of digital note taking is the boundaries of traditional one and paper that it breaks.
Studies have shown that learning efficiency and understanding of a subject is increased by higher order learning and mind mapping. For these techniques, an infinite canvas is needed.
It would be highly appreciated if this function would be added.
Thank you.

Actual the size of the paper is fixed.
But nevertheless that I use A0 I am limited during Brainstorming and other creative workshops. Therefore I must use another tool (Zoomnotes). But this is not helpful at all to switch from tool to tool.
Is there a chance in the near future to implement a more to enlarge the size of the paper endless? -

Agree, only as an option because not everyone would want this. I like my notes to be the same as if I wrote the on an 8.5 x 11 inch paper. Makes printing them much easier.

Please only as an option, not default. It’s useful to have paper sizing fir those of us who like to or need to print things.

Would prefer this to be an option, not the default. In most of my use cases (calculations) I still need to present the output in hardcopy. The ability to paginate immediately prior to exporting could potentially be a more productive alternative for me (would need to try it!) that would allow this.

Would love this for university because we have still this one guy with his endless roll for the overhead-projector. This feature would arm me equally.

Notability already does this. Swiping isn't efficient

This would be very helpful when one wants to paste a copied page that is longer than the prescribed page.

It need not truly be an infinite sheet (it's not infinite in OneNote either). Just that the pages would "connect" on their short edge, with the ability to scroll continuously instead of scrolling complete pages at once.

I agree that continuous pages are an essential feature (as an option). Page breaks are terrible when you give a lecture using GoodNotes. But there should be a possibility to insert space later, and to insert page breaks for printing.

Not take away, but have the option would nice!
I like sth. similar to Microsoft Word: You can see the end and beginning of a page and you can clearly see a page, but you can still see what's at the end of the previous page. indispensable if you're doing some math using goodnotes! -

The restriction is the main reason I started using GoodNotes. Please don't take away the pages!

I am still hoping that this will become a priority for Goodnotes.

This is good as an extra option since I like to be able to print my notes.

I really miss vertical scrolling. I teach and write math with goodnotes and I hate having to flip back and forth to get equations from the bottom of the previous page. Time to try notability again I guess.
Also, I have a much harder time writing on the bottom 1/4 of the screen and am constantly wishing I could move the page up to get a better writing position.

Please set this as a priority. I want to switch back to GoodNotes 4 from Notability.

i was using notability for more than a year now and and right now i am trying goodnotes because i'm thinking about to change.
this is a feature i really miss! i often need to see what i wrote on the last page. going back and forwards is a pain when the zoom windows is activated! a small grey gap between the pages ("below / above each page") would be fine, but i really need to the the last page! e.g. if you're doing some math, you need to see what you wrote and the end of the last page.
hope that this feature will come. -

I have voted several times for scrolling similar to Notability as an option. Vertical and horizontal would bring me back from Notability. I like your product better but need this feature for teaching.

An infinitely long set of scrolling pages similar to Notability rather then to OneNote would be a good approach. I like what several users said about having the user able to set margins at the top and bottom of each page as well as the importance of printability and of using it as a display device. I also like what they say about the importance of keeping it as an option. Many "Notetaking" and "Writing" techniques such as Cornell Notetaking are page based for solid reasons.

Hello Uriel,
I don't mean it to be automatic. I'm fine if it's an option in settings that is off by default. Does that address your objection?

That's a reason why PDF annotations in OneNote is a pain! Please do not implement that!!!!
