Infinite Canvas
The biggest pro of digital note taking is the boundaries of traditional one and paper that it breaks.
Studies have shown that learning efficiency and understanding of a subject is increased by higher order learning and mind mapping. For these techniques, an infinite canvas is needed.
It would be highly appreciated if this function would be added.
Thank you.

i totally agree. adding a new page is adding resistance. infinite canvas like apple notes or even something seamless like notability will be hugely appreciated.

I am willing to pay a "Ridiculous" amount of money for infinite canvas for Goodnotes. This is the last milestone that would make Goodnotes the ultimate note taking app.

Yes please! I almost completely switched to Freeform for this reason. Today I'm trying to work around this limitation and it is painful

Please add this! But still allow to use normal A4 paper when you want.
The infinite canvas should be its own paper template. You should be able to add it anywhere in between other normal pages in a notebook. In other words: an "infinite page" should be another page template option.
Another important thing: It would be nice if an A4 page for example could be converted to an infinite page at any time when the user needs more space on his/her page. Obviously it doesn't have to be able to convert back to A4 because then you will lose data.
One thing that might help is if an infinite page could crop itself to its smallest possible size when you 'leave' that page. So the left border crops just to the left of the left most written thing. The same with the right, top and bottom. -

And have the option to toggle it on or off on any file and will still save the information.

I’ve been a user of Goodnotes for several years now. It’s easy to use and very functional for note taking and many other things.
The recent few months I’ve been trying to improve on my note taking. As I searched for styles to consider, mind mapping is the one getting the greatest amount of attention. The use of mind mapping helps with relationships of ideas and ties things together better for the note taker. Having an infinite canvas helps for mind mapping. Please consider this for future Goodnote improvements.
Goodnotes is awesome !!

It would be cool if there was a template where you could zoom in infinitely. You could create mind maps in which you can go deeper and deeper into more detail.

Compromise :
If not making an infinit page…
Please add the option to arrange PDFs on an infinit space. To have like a mindmap overview of all topics on the pages. To brainstorm and to arrange things between pages (fitting to the new feature, of moving things, with the lasso, in between pages.
View it as a new way of displaying a page overview.
The pages system could exist like normal separat to it.
That would be even better cause you would be able to view specific parts (the pages/ ‘topics’)as single normal pages.
It is so important… -

Some of my classes work better with just one infinitely long page due to my professors slide formatting, so i don't need to split the same topic between pages

GN is my favorite app for mind mapping, except the limited canvas sizes that hinder the continuous addition of new information!

In response to moderato comment, this is an option in noteability which also treats each page like a file. Also,in notability, I can write on on one page and continue it to the next without lifting my pencil.

Will Goodnotes add infinite canvas to their next update? I am considering not using this app because of how long it takes to change from requests made by so many.

Since the current framework doesn't allow to procee with this feature, a button that "cancels" the space between the pages could be added (and in this case it could be maked with a doted point).

To have an infinite, freeform canvas that allow unlimited scrolling both vertical and horizontally (eg onenote, nebo, apple freeform). Good for mind map.
