Why?

I use different colour palettes for notebooks, for example soft natural colours in a journey diary but clear, very different colours while working my way through a scientifical PDF. So I added many colours to choose from and have reached a confusing number.
I had to compromise on some of each colour palette for my preset 12 colours so it‘s only about 3-4 preset colours for each kind of document
I also use different pen thicknesses, etc.
My text boxes look very different between my notebooks.

So to keep different colour palettes, other settings to choose from and the 12 preset colours for my tools with each file is VERY important for me.

To improve my workflow and to keep my sanity one of the greatest improvements could be themes for notebooks!

I wish…

…I could create themes and name and manage them in the options menu like I can do with paper / notebook templates.

…these themes would include EVERYTHING I can change or choose from:
- which pen I use and its settings
- how I erase
- how I use my highlighter
- important: every single colour palette I can coose from (for pens, for highlighters, typed text, tape, if I lasso something and change the colour, etc.)
- my 12 preset colours for pens and highlighters, etc.
- how my favourite text box looks like
- maybe even the paper I use
- etc.

…I could choose from those themes while working on a document so I can change everything quickly, for example if each chapter has a different theme or I need for drawings different colours and thicknesses than for commenting on a text and highlighting some passages.

…I could change all settings and colours of a preset theme within my document AND COULD KEEP THESE CHANGES locally in only this document BUT WOULD HAVE TO HIT A BUTTON to really save those changes to my theme in the options menu or to create even a new theme.

I guess this includes and answers some wishes from others like colour palettes.

This would help me very much and save a lot of time!
