Collaborate on shared notebooks with multiple users
Simulaneously share notebooks for use through the web with other users.
Talkboard is a free app by Citrix that allows for sharing of a white board with multiple users. The writing features are in general, the same as good notes.
If notebooks could support features to share with other users simultaneously, even select notebooks, then I would be able to use good notes as a collaboration tool on top of it being a note taking tool.
We’re happy to announce the release of our new update GoodNotes 5.5 including “Shared Documents”. You can now share a document with other GoodNotes users and work together on them. You can read everything about the first version of shared documents here: https://medium.goodnotes.com/link-sharing-share-documents-adb36f99c583
Details on how to use the new features and FAQ are available here: https://support.goodnotes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001571256-Sharing-a-document-with-other-users-to-collaborate-on-it

This feature would be huge for me. The ability to collaborate during meetings where everybody has access to notes anyone can mark up. With the Covid-19 forcing us to work from home. I am using wed meeting apps like Zoom and Webex, but their whiteboarding tools are not very good. Having shared real-time notebooks would solve this problem.

I personally use Mac and iPad simultaneously. My work flow including tons of text input and complex figures. It hard to switch from drawing mode to typing mode and vice versa, in iPad. Beside, I screen shot figures, which need to be labelled by hands, and copy plain text, which need to be pasted on Goodnotes.
A lot of time was wasted while I wait for airdrop/import to Goodnotes and handover pasting. More importantly, sorting out and combine content on Mac with iPad is frustrating. It will be very helpful if there is a feature that support the cooperation between Mac and iPad Goodnotes, whether is through USB, LAN or Cloud connection.
I thought this will work through iCloud, which is the reason I paid for Goodnote 5 Legacy. Unfortunately, It is not working. I am willing to pay extra for this cooperative features.

I enjoy using Goodnotes in every area of my life, personal journal, sketching, professional notes, study notes. There have been times when I am in the process of writing or taking notes when I would like to share those ideas as they develop. currently I need to send weekly updates. I would love to be able to share a link to my notebook so the audience could receive updates at their leisure.

I think allowing the collaboration of a document with other users (like GoogleDocs) would be extremely useful. Sharing notes on a group project for academic assignments could be extremely useful for students of all ages. Also, I often use GoodNotes to create lists (shopping, wish-lists, movie/song suggestions, bucket-lists, etc.) My sister and my roommate both use GoodNotes and we would really appreciate if GoodNotes offered some type of collaboration features that updates and allow multi-user editing. Since GoodNotes currently does not have this ability, we have to use GoogleDocs or OneNote to create documents like this. We all prefer using GoodNotes for all of our documentation, so if there could be an update granting document sharing we would most definitely use GoodNotes instead of other platforms for our shared documents.

I create books for my students. Having collaboration would be helpful so I could update there books and easily grade completed assignments.
My current solution is to create the book in GoodNotes and then move it to google docs where they can complete and I can grade.

Hi, I already have this app on my ipad. I was trying to find a way to share a note while doing team meeting. We are 5 peoples who would really like the ability to work on the same note at the same time. Is this even possible ?

I am a theoretical physicist. In this period of lockdown, doing research over a shared notebook is going to be immensely helpful. In general, the possibility of remote collaboration where two or more people can write on the same notebook and see real-time changes are going to be an absolute game-changer in how international collaborations are carried out right now. Presently, I use apple keynote's collaboration feature, which gives almost a real-time experience, but since the default format is in the form of slides, the end result of the discussion is not very palatable and typically needs to be copied to a separate notebook format. Another option I use is one of the real-time whiteboard apps, or Zoom's whiteboards, all of which are dissatisfactory to say the least in terms of user experience.
I sincerely believe the first note-taking app to build this live collaboration feature is going to get a huge surge of new customers who will migrate to this app for this feature. Having used all of the note-taking apps available in iOS for the last 6 years I can confidently say Goodntoes is very likely to be the first one to break through this glass ceiling.

The ability to share notebooks would be extremely helpful right now. My daughter attends public school from home, being able to review her notes and create a schedules to share would be ideal. Within this functionality a comments and annotation section that could be accepted by the owner of the notebook in a review section would be wonderful. A version history would be logical in tracking the comments and changes.

I lllllove Goodnotes, use it everyday and almost all day and literally couldn’t live without it with so many smaller and bigger projects in progress. With a collaboration option in place I wouldn’t need a separate apps such as Miro, or Google jamboard to brainstorm with team members. That would be highly convenient.

I would like the abiltiy to handwrite and share the story I am writing with my girlfriend and allow her to handwrite her version of the story as we move through our relationship. Awwww, I know right. ;-)

I frequently would like to work on a notebook with a few other people where everyone can edit the notebook. This is mostly for two purposes 1) Work: developing project outlines with collaborators. 2) Home: Sharing notes with my husband and son! We are currently using google docs or Dropbox as workarounds

So my husband and I can interact on grocery lists and menus like we can on Wunderlist.

I would like this feature because I often work on Mindmaps together with colleagues. I use A3 templates for this purpose. It would be awesome if my colleagues could access this notebooks and add their ideas and changes.

I’d like for multiple people to be able to use a notebook at the same time and edit it in real time so me and my classmates can share amongst each other similar to google docs.

I would use it to work on shared documents with my boyfriend. A couple examples would be our Weekly Meal Plan Journal and our cats’ vet records.

My daughter and I use GoodNotes for school. I would like this feature to see the work my daughter is doing in either a specific folder or notebook.

While I agree with many of the others who have commented, my needs are a bit simpler. I have two separate Ipads that I use regularly, one for work and one for personal. There are a couple of notebooks I would love to be able to updated from either account.

Somestimes, I wish to discuss some ideas with other people remotely. On desktop, I can use Teamviewer to remote control the peer side' desktop. Unfortunately, it most desktops do not support pencils. But iPad and Goodnotes support pencils. If Goodnotes support the real-time sharing with other people, then we can work on the same note with pencil. This will improve discussing efficiency dramatically because we can write equations, formulas and sketches on the same note and other users can see them and update them in real-time.

I would use this to view a live version of my note on a larger screen (but a separate device) in real time as I’m writing my note.
