Collaborate on shared notebooks with multiple users
Simulaneously share notebooks for use through the web with other users.
Talkboard is a free app by Citrix that allows for sharing of a white board with multiple users. The writing features are in general, the same as good notes.
If notebooks could support features to share with other users simultaneously, even select notebooks, then I would be able to use good notes as a collaboration tool on top of it being a note taking tool.
We’re happy to announce the release of our new update GoodNotes 5.5 including “Shared Documents”. You can now share a document with other GoodNotes users and work together on them. You can read everything about the first version of shared documents here: https://medium.goodnotes.com/link-sharing-share-documents-adb36f99c583
Details on how to use the new features and FAQ are available here: https://support.goodnotes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001571256-Sharing-a-document-with-other-users-to-collaborate-on-it

We would like to collaborate using GoodNotes like on a whiteboard. We discuss ideas most of the time, review documents, share some screenshots we draw on. Now we have to send pages or notebooks in pdf by email. Would really help if you add multi-user support to collaborate both online and offline.

It should be possible to invite employees. This can be very practical in a classroom situation, as students could work together on a document. You could create and edit common table notes.

Similar to what Google has done with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, GoodNotes can have multiple people jot down notes in the same notebook at the same time.
Why is this a useful feature?
As a University student, lecturers are going way to fast and to write down information neatly and thoroughly is impossible so imagine if myself and a friend can take notes together. I can start drawing up the format while he/she starts filling it in. I draw, you comment. And when exam comes we both have an up to date version of notes to study from... no sharing, because it’s already synced...

We are a small investing office. Three of us evaluate various companies for possible investing. Right now the three of us keep separate notes on each company in GoodNotes.
It would be very helpful to have access to each other's notes. We don't need advanced features like the ability to have various people create and edit the same note.
I suppose what I'm suggesting is just the ability to have multiple users put note pages into the same folder.

1. I homeschool my son who has multiple learning disabilities. This app takes away a lot of his fears and it makes transporting assignments easy when we travel or just go for a walk. I try and create as many assignments and notes for him as possible using this app because it helps him feel more confident, but not being able to collaborate and share files and folders with each other makes teaching difficult.
2. School and home. It would be great if the assignments and notes I create could be visible to him without a ton of intermediary steps.
3. Export to Dropbox where he can see it and download it, then once he’s modified the document we do it in reverse. It’s a pain especially if we discover he wants to change something. It usually just involves us trading iPads which isn’t great.

1. I find myself sharing pages with my man so many times. I went completely paperless in goodnotes, but we still have to rely on other options for sharing our family planning, dinner schedule etc
2. The above, but also when working with coworkers on a shared idea with notes and moodboards where we keep adding stuff
3. I use trello, shared calendar, Dropbox files, pdf export with every update to the document instead or I share a word/pages document with the others in a shared Dropbox folder instead
Adding the option to share it would be truly magnificent and a huge game changer. Most of my past productivity tools were only lacking in the collaboration departement. When running a busy household or having other things that multiple people need to know or can act upon, it’s nice to have a single place to look at that gets updated real time.

Yes for sharing meeting minutes at work this is a super important feature to have. Would be great to be able to share certain folders with certain people to control permissions to which notes others have access to and can edit, and which ones they can't.

I would like to use goodnotes to collaborate on lists, notes and updates for our exterior contracting company. Goodnotes is my favorite way to keep track of what is going on, my personal lists, and to-do lists. I use Goodnotes on my ipad, and because there is no sharing feature, we use Apple IOS shared notes to make and mark to-do lists. Our office is small, but hand-writing my lists help me think and keep track of what I am doing more than typing. Apple's solution separates typed text from handwritten text in a way that is NOT helpful to me. Goodnotes allows me to copy and paste text wherever I'd like on a page, and write around it, over it etc. It also allows me to input photos, and export directly to my computer or printer. Please give us this shared option. I'd love it.

I would love to be able to collaborate with a colleague using GoodNotes because we often collaborate on to do lists, share documents and need to view the same information that we store in our professional notebooks. We otherwise have to write it down or one person enters it in their GoodNotes but it isn't accessible to the other party.

We regularly use good notes to compile site plans, and annote changes or progress live on site. If the whole team could work on the plan collaboratively this would improve efficiency. At the moment we keep one master iPad in the site office, and update on iPhone, then gather to make sure we are all in the same place. Please allow collaboration.

I have regular small business meetings with my best friend and fellow entrepreneur. We discuss both of our businesses at these meetings and basically use them as brainstorming think tank. It would be nice to be able to both write our notes on a meeting agenda together rather than separate notebooks.

My wife and I use GoodNotes for a number of things. Currently, we were working on our personal budget and would like to be able to simultaneously edit and refer our budget throughout the week. This is available through Apple’s “Numbers”, but we like GoodNotes so much more.

In my prototyping workshop we are constantly improving processes and debugging multiple builds of the same product at once. Having a singular document that updates real-time with each of our additions would save a lot of time checking that we have the most up-to-date information so we can pick up where another left off. Taking pictures of a build and writing on top of it to suggest changes is a big part of our workflow. Adding items to each others to-do lists is something we’d love to do.
Right now we AirDrop and delete copies later. We also use Google Docs by posting screenshots of handwritten notes. Due to the amount of math and diagrams we draw for clarity we can not use GoodNotes ‘convert’ function without a considerable amount of editing.
