I feel the same way.. I still use notability only for that feature! If goodnotes had this I would be a loyal customer.

Even if you add audio recording as an in-app purchase for $50, I would still buy it.

Feels like GN will be irreplaceable once this has been implemented

I literally cannot stop using Notability because of the recording feature there. If GN adds this feuture then RIP to Notability really. I am using Notability while pulling my hair all the time because I just know that GN is way better in everything.

Have used GN4 for years and missed the update offer a few months ago.

Now seriously considering notability because of the audio feature that GN5 still DOESN't have.

Yes, I've been waiting for this function for many years. I found several other apps that have similar function. But they merely contains one audio in one note. I even tried to use Apple Notes, synced with Mac. Do the recording with Mac and drag the audio to Notes, and synced back on iPad

Please, please!! This idea was posted in 2014!! It's really an urgent need for many users. Why it's still not realized? It's for the lack of the audio recording function that I mainly use Notability now. If this function is added, I'm sure I will turn to GoodNotes.

Why do we have to keep using two apps if its only missing ONE thing (VOICE RECORD) please add this as soon as possible it's a hassle to have my notes split because your program does not allow you do attach audio notes, videos, or record in app.

It's already a function phones know how to do, it can't be that hard to add it. Would be so ideal otherwise. This is huge oversight.

I share the comments below. We (users of your app) really NEED & USE the audio recording function while taking notes!! You HAVE TO add it really fast to Good Notes!!! Otherwise, you leave us with the only choice of buying and using Notibility (and not buying your app).

Please please please add this function, it would improve your app so much and make it a lifesaver, and, in my opinion, ultimately better than Notability.

Too late. I need this feature now, so have to move to notability. Unlikely I will move back since the apps aren’t that different otherwise.

For how long do y'all want us to keep using Notability because of the audio recording feature. I use it in EVERY lecture I go to and it's been a lifesaver for me. I don't think it's insanely difficult to implement it! If you can't sync handwriting with audio, then just give us the chance to record audio and take notes in the same app instead of having two different apps.

Seriously, how can the need for this even be a question? I'm sure Goodnotes know this already. Chop chop. Great app otherwise.
