So when you're taking notes during class it would be so handy to have a voice recorder. It would also be nice that you can retrace what you've written while recording. So if you don't understand something from your notes, you can just go back and see what your teacher said when you were writing those things down. This would be so helpful!

Please add audio recording. I would rather use GoodNotes, than other apps. However, without the option to record while taking notes, I am forced to use other apps

hopefully this update will be coming soon, cause i am postponing my notability purchase. If school starts and this update isn't available unfortunately i'll have to go with notability, cause i am a terrible note taker, and my life depends on audio recording. Please consider adding audio recording.

Pls pls pls pls pleaseeeee add. I had adhd and I prefer goodnotes, but the audio recording in notability has forced me to use it instead :(

Date stamp at the beginning of each entry session is an absolute necessity.

It would be nice to have an audio feature as well as the ability to paste in the video. So close to being the perfect app!

Please add audio recording that sync to notes! This would be extremely helpful especially for college students like me who listen to lecture while simultaneously taking notes! This has been flagged as "planned" for so long when another app already has it. I would prefer to stick with goodnotes and not switch to a different app. Please add soon!

I love love love GoodNotes and the audio recording feature is a big miss. I'd love to embed important lecture parts to add further information and context to my notes and essays. When will this update be available. I would top this idea over vertical scroll. honestly.

Ability to record would be fantastic

Add audio record & playback. I plan to use the iPad for science classes to draw chemical & biological stuctures. It would be nice to also be able to record & playback audio so that science students can do everything in one app without having to purchase or use additional software! I like this app because images can be drawn directly into the body of the work without looking odd.

Planned for when? I'm a new customer that's disappointed to see this feature has apparently been on the roadmap for 2 years.

Gotta have audio recording. As Rohit mentioned, it’s a major feature admission. Notability wins hands-down. GoodNotes is this -> <- close at second place

When this is combined with the "Add audio to handwriting" and it's vote total, it's easily the number 2 ranked suggestion behind split screen - and it's very close to overtaking split screen. Yet neither suggestion has moved past the "Planned" stage. A number of recommendations with fewer votes are already in the "Started" stage.

I'm very close to chucking GoodNotes and throwing in my lot with Notability as they have this ability already.
