Disable the page turn animation

The new version added the page turn animation, but doesn't give the experience of reading ePub on iBooks.

The animation looks very amateur, and quite annoying when trying to go back and forth for references. Hope add an option to disable this feature, just like what other apps do.

    As someone with motion sickness I think it’s an important accessibility feature to add the option to fully remove page transition animation effects. I’ve been flipping through the pages for just a short while and I already feel nauseous. I hope there’s an option to just have it fade in fade out. I’m currently using it as a digital planner

    In response to Anonymous: true, when using the ipad with an external screen the animations are gone. But if you want to use goodnotes to record a video of a lecture/presentation on the ipad then you are stuck. It seems you cannot turn the animations off without connecting an external screen.

    It would be much more convenient if the animations could be turned off so that I one could record videos on the ipad directly.

    Also, it cannot be that hard to implement this feature, I reckon.

    I am using version 5.5.8. If you choose "share" -> "Mirror Full Page", the page turn animation will be invisible to the audience (I only tried it on Zoom).

    This setting + laser pointer make GoodNotes the best presentation tool in a virtual meeting!

    - no animation, just switching pages
    is crucial for PDF presentations (often created using Beamer) in which a text is added on the same slide when moving from one slide to another.
    This will really make GoodNotes much more useful for me

    I agree that in presentation mode one would like to be able to disable any Kind of page-turn animation.
    On the other side, when using GoodNotes in a letter writing or diary way, I would even like to have an even more playful Animation, like turning around real paper (like in the Books app).

    So there should be 4 modes:
    - no animation, just switching pages
    - scroll horizontally (existing)
    - scroll vertically (existing)
    - paper flip mode

    So, I just downloaded GoodNotes and it seems like I can't find the feature you guys were begging for years ago. Is it still not implemented? I wanted to use GoodNotes for presentations and I completely agree with "anonym".

    I would also like to use GoodNotes for presentations. At this time, the animations are too distracting to record the iPad Screen, and the AirPlay image flashes every time a page is turned, even though the animations are at least not there.

    I agree. I get motion sick trying to flip back and forth between pages. I liked when I could touch the side of the page and the page would just change. Please let me disable the animation feature.

    Just update the version, and got really upset.

    I import all my PDFs books to goodnotes and enjoyed reading with it, and taking notes and highlights freely.

    I hate the iBooks' slow page turn animation, but now goodnotes is even slower!!!
