A few more things from OneNote to add:

- pre-set text formatting (title, headings, subheadings, normal text)
- checkboxes
- light and dark mode toggle (text colours automatically switching with each mode)

I’ve switched to Notion for note taking because with the amount of information I have to summarise writing everything by hand in GoodNotes is impossible. I now only use GoodNotes for annotating PDFs and drawing diagrams...

I really wish GoodNotes would have the same typing experience as in OneNote, then I could finally use a single note taking app...

I encourage good notes 5 to have some more basic texting function to organize the typing field (especially listing)
1. Numbered list (1.2.3.4.)
2. Bulleted list
3. line space

those 3 are so easy to accomplish by the developer but it can help us to organize our type notes!!!!!

I was able to do bullet points while writing with my Apple pencil

It was quite annoying typing good notes that there is no bullet feature. I hope they enhance the overall typing in goodnotes because its a really must for students. I have both pen and keyboard and equally type as much as I write.

Please add some basic text input/editing functions. GoodNotes is by far my favourite note tasking app, but the text function is extremely poor.

please for the LOVE OF GOD add bullet points. I am a law student and I like to type my reading notes but the text edit function of GoodNotes stinks. I don't need it to do what a full word processor does. I have Microsoft Word for that. I just want to be able to keep my typed notes and written notes in the same notebook without having to type them up in word. I JUST NEED A BULLETED LIST PLEASE

I switched over to notability for this feature. The handwriting I prefer on goodnotes but for basic typing? Yeah notability on this one

Please add some basic text functions like bulleted lists. I use Goodnotes for handwriting 95% of the time but when I do need to type, the poor functionality for typing in Goodnotes is really frustrating.

Has it really been 5 years since this was requested? Do they really not care at all about text editing? It’s a simple feature that doesn’t compromise anything else, yet i’m sure they push away a lot of customers without it or at the very least make it less usable for current customers
