In the meantime, Goodnotes on Android, Windows, and Web supports most of the major features you enjoy on Apple, though we’re still working on creating a more consistent experience across all platforms.
Since this thread has become quite long and covers multiple ideas, it’s difficult to address each one specifically or evaluate which topics are most urgent. For now, we’ll close this thread to help keep things organized in the forum.
If you have multiple ideas and want them to be actionable, we recommend sharing them in separate threads: 1 feature request = 1 thread. This makes it easier for others to vote, check if an idea has already been submitted, and helps us identify which ideas are most important to you.
Once a feature goes live, we’ll update the thread and you’ll receive an email notification from the portal promptly.

Bitte passt die Android version an die IOS Version an. es ist eine Frechheit für den gleiche Preis eine deutlich schlechter "app" anzubieten. Die Android welche eine einfache verknüpfung zum Web browser ist, stürzt regelmäßig ab. Meine Stifte und Farben reseten sich REGELMÄßIG, Notizen werden nur teils oder gar nicht angezeigt. mein Samsung Pen funktioniert nicht mit der App. Es fehlen grundlegende Feature im gegensatz zur IOS version.
Goodnotes Team, wie viele Leute müssen noch in diesem "gut versteckten" forum schreiben, bis ihr endlich seht das es sich lohnt eine GUTE Andriod version zu veröfffentlichen.

my application laggs alooott in android! especially when i add a screenshot in my notes i literally have to close it and open it again for it to work

You have a big disadvantage at school if you have GoodNotes on Android because there are simply fewer features.

This thread was made In 2024 juli and to this day I've still seen no update that are bringing us close to a better version nor a better goodnotes i am still curious why the app is still in Google store 1 year 0 change issue still wpa and not a native app it's still lacks basic feature and it's still lagging and I'm even on high end flagship

追記 最近アプデ頻度が高く、機能がどんどん充実していって、誠に嬉しい！開発者の皆様ユーザーの声を拾ってくれてありがとう！ 今の年間プランが値上がりしたり、Android用に追加料金を払ってでも価値があることだと思ってます！是非料金を払うので、今後ともAndroid版の開発をよろしくお願いします。

As someone who moved from iPhone to Samsung ecosystem in 2025, having the same features across the applications would be ideal!

For me, it's essential to have the ability to convert handwritten text into typed font, just like on iOS. I also need the option to zoom in so I can write accurately, similar to how it's done on iOS.

As much as I "could" love the Android version, there are issues! I feel like we need:
More tools like Noteshelf has (yes, I used NS for a bit when I got so frustrated with GN!)
Ability to lock the graphics so they don't constantly move around
Ability to export a single page instead of entire notebook would be great
And every suggestion I've read on this page.
I've already had to restart it at least 10 times today. It's not loading all my pages. I'll shut it down, restart, it'll load a few then just stop. I've been at this all day long. What can we do about this? I've already removed all the templates that came with my divider set. Still not loading like it should.
Please make it a real app with everything being offered on GN 6. That's only fair! I feel like we're the red-headed step children here getting only half of what we should have.

Goodnotes keeps on promising that they are working on it but I have waited years and I am yet to see results. They only add minor updates every now and again. I would really like to continue using GoodNotes but if they keep on ignoring their Android consumer base then I will have to use a different app. I really wish GoodNotes gets their act together.

It would be great if we had the ability to import .collection files on both Android and Windows, so many Goodnotes planners come with their stickers in this format and it would be faster than adding the individual png files for each of the stickers.
