have a way to cut and paste images into notebooks. For example, taking a picture from a textbook and copying it into the notes that we are writing about that subject matter. Also add the zoom-in feature like that of the iOS version on ipad where you can write in the zoomed in section especially if utilizing a pen with a touch screen windows computer

I just want to be able to have the same note-taking tools as iOS users and Chrome users. Like typing/fonts, more page styles, and more tools in general. You're doing great so far, but could you make it equal?

I basically use Android, Apple, and Windows devices. I always look for a better Notes app that runs on all platforms without having to lose your place. What I want to see on the Android GoodNotes, is the same as what is available on Apple. I use an iPad and it works amazing. There are features on the iPad that are missing or not available compared to my Galaxy Tab. I'd want to see this app work like how it would on my iPad. The galaxy stylus would offer more varity compared to the apple pencil. Also the stylus is more slim so it feels much comforable but doesn't have the same tip. I am not a huge fan of the double tap on the Apple pencil to switch between pen to eraser because i accidentily double tap all the time. Turned it off permanently. Being able to sync this app with my google account over my apple account would be best since Google works on both Apple and Android. I would like more pencil options but that is asking a lot. Adding the shapes and text feature from the ipad app would be nice. If GoodNotes can top all the other notes apps available, then this will be my preferred notes app since it would offer cross platform access.

As a college student who bought a tablet purely for note taking and has wanted all of the same capabilities as ios users. There shouldn't need to be a long winded discussion on this. You've knocked it out of the park with the iPad version. Simply duplicate it for android and windows. I understand this is beta, but it should have started out with everything they have and you could use our feedback to tweak and work out what works and doesn't work for us instead of starting us out with the bare minimum.

For several reasons that don't need discussed in this forum, I am a die-hard Android user. Many counterparts in my industry have been using Goodnotes for iOS for years and rave about its features and capabilities. I have looked forward to its release for Android. I currently use Squid as my note taking app and have been pleased with it's features , however having the ability to exchange notes with the iOS crowd would be very benificial. I have begun using the beta version for Android and have been pleased with it, just look forward to have the full features available. The " insert a photo " feature is one of the most anticipated ones. In my line of work, taking a photo and then being able to annotate it occurs on a daily basis. The shapes feature probably is second on the list, followed by exporting and cloud back-up. Thanks for getting the Android version going and can't wait to see what it becomes!

I agree fully with Andrew further down the line! You've knocked it out of the park with the iPad version. Simply duplicate it for Windows.

Yes I agree, we need on Windows a complete Ios like version of Goodnotes. Particularly I want to say that I am very disappointed that the app currently only works online (I hope this is due to the fact that is currently in Beta, I hope that final version will (must) have a Offline version otherwise it would be unpleasant for users).
The App is online only and this reflects negatively on many factors: it is not certain that many users have an internet connection available in order to use the app (for example students (to whom this app is mainly aimed) they need of use a note taking app in any kind of situation with and without connection in order to be reliable), moreover, the writing experience (despite a fast internet connection) is laggy and does not in any way guarantee the true experience of Goodnotes for iPad.
I fear that all this could be reflected in negative feedback from users similar to what happened with Microsoft Whiteboard which since it became online only has received many criticisms as well as requests to add an offline version again. The difference is that, however, as regards Goodnotes, it is precisely the experience in writing, and the features (eg: voice recording with notes) and the use even offline, that make it chosen by users compared to other numerous apps already available such as OneNotes, Inkodo, Journals ....
As for the features, I noticed the lack of essential features of the App (present instead on the iPad) which I hope will arrive in the next beta version: missing customization of tools, draw and hold (to recognize a shape) doesn't work on beta (See video in attachments), missing the essential feature for students: the newest voice recording memo with notes.
I dedicate this section to some suggestions to make Goodnotes unique for Surface devices:
-selecting the eraser, when using it if you shake it to erase faster, the eraser size should get bigger (like it happens on MS Whiteboard)
- take advantage of the different vibrations of the surface slim pen 2 to ensure that each tool has a different vibration when you use it
- add the possibility to choose, to add a page, in addition to the swipe to add also possibility to add infinite pages (like on notability and onenote).
-add a true full screen mode when maximizing the window (like it happens on Inkodo where the windows' menu bar is hidden, See second Video in attachments)
-Add a new pencil tool that feels (in writing style) like a real pencil (like the one on Apple Notes or Inkodo see third video in attachments)
-Add a clickable draw/note when you re-play the audio recording, in order to listen that particular audio memo related to the draw you touched. -

It would be very convenient to be able to do all or at least some of the following ideas.
-Type or add a textbox
-Make straight lines or shapes by holding stylus at the end
-Convert handwriting to text
-Add internet pictures -

I really like Goodnote as a student. I can create new notes, import many files into it and upload them on to Ondrive. But these perfect abilities are disappeared on the PC version!!!

Hello, I also think that it would by wonderful if you make the windows 11 version exactly like the IOS Version !!! This would be very beautiful for all Windows-users using a 2-in-1-device like me, I need this 2-1-device at school I am a teacher for my lessons, untill now I use an IPad I recieved from the State of Germany as the other teachers, but I want to use also my Windows HP 2-in-1-device because I like it very much, the only problem until now has been that I havent´t had a nice app like goodnotes for my windows-device. I´m waiting for the best IPad-app of the year now for Windows !!!! Best wishes for Goodnotes-developer-team. Yours sincerely Helmut Hartung (Germany)
