I fully agree. The digital function in the app would be much better. Even on the iPad I use the keyboard to write.

This is absolutely needed when working on a PC, without it you can just use Whiteboard and the result will be the same.

I would love to have the ability to type like in the Ipad version. Instead i add comments to the page...not as effective as typing into the notes

I completely agree. I'm a comp sci major and typing for me is a lot more efficient when taking notes in class. Having the option to switch between typing and writing can expand the group that the app is tailored to.

Not to mention, I think that I speak for a lot of people when I say that for a desktop version, I was expecting features (typing) that would be a given since its desktop. Not much use for me now since I was expecting to type out my notes.

Honestly, what's the point of having a desktop version of Goodnotes if you can't even type with your keyboard??? I was excited for this desktop version (I have been WAITING for YEARS), and without the keyboard function, it is unusable, and I won't be opening (the desktop version) again without this function. Completely unusuable.

I agree with everyone here pretty much. I use GoodNotes primarily on my iPad while taking notes in meetings and such. Would be great to be able to come back to my desk, sit down on my computer and open the notebook I just wrote my meeting notes in and take further notes or add comments. Would be super helpful to be able to add text boxes or markdown support.

Agree! Goodnotes for Windows is completely unusable for me because there is no ability to type.

I can't use goodnotes either because I can only type on my computer. Please if you read this, I would appreciate the typing feature.

Please~~ It's really hardwriting. I always use the keyboard even on ipad.That's practical.

I am only able to use GoodNotes with the keyboard feature so I am waiting for this feature to be able to make use of the app on my laptop.
