Feedback from Android Beta (what happened?)
I am honestly surprised that many features from the ios was not implemented into this android beta version.
There is soo much talk all over the digital planning community of how goodnotes is soo great yet it is not much compared to androids penly or samsung notes.
Missing features in android
-file import
-hyperlink capability
-pen case capability
-color picking and opacity
-shapes with fill in availability
-image or sticker organization and import
-custom fonts for text
-Notes and settings cloud synchronization
The list goes on and on what on earth happened? The apple version seems to have everything I listed missing according to some YouTube vids.

I think before adding new features to the IOS version they should shift their focus to Android. They should ensure they both have the same features instead of favouring IOS. Once they have focused and allocated enough resources to give Android the same features as iOS they should then update GoodNotes together in which they both get the same new features in future updates.
I think GoodNotes favouring of IOS is unacceptable and needs to stop. It should treat IOS and Android equally as not everyone agrees with Apple or has the money to afford Apple products.

Features on Goodnotes that apple has but not in Android:
- Abel to open several notes at the same time!*This one is very importan, because I come from having an Apple tablet, and if I knew this I would never have changed to an android tablet....
- Able to have more than 3 colors!!!
- Seamless sheets!
- When cutting out a text, its not possible to drag it onto another sheet, and that very annoying. So then I hace to rewrite the whole thing or do the figure all over agin. Its not efficient!
There is many more things, but this is a few of the must essentials! And since Goodnotes has a collaboration with Samsung tablets, this will make more people who buy tablets for studying reasons more likely to buy samsung tablets.
Please do something about this!

I'm not sure if we still on Beta, but it still doesn't work. I'm seriously thinking about getting back to ipad because the lack of a good fit for samsung is awful. Besides, there I still have my one time subscription and won`t fell into that that annual fee bs. I would pay happily if I was assured it would meet the ios system if not overcome it. For now it's just have a better layout than Samsung Notes, but the features...

Thank you Devs for putting together both a Windows and an Android version. I agree with the OP that hyperlink and other functionality is crucial, and with Samantha who reminds us that this app is in beta stages. I'm just really itching to get started with my new digital planner and I'm cheering you on! Please be encouraged - you have a lot of people rooting for you!

Just an fyi, this app isn't launched yet. It's in it's beta stages. The good notes team wants to perfect the basics before adding in more things. *I am not a member of the good notes.team*

I agree 100%!! I have personally never used good notes because I do not have any Apple products but I see many YouTube videos where people do use it and I am oh so jealous of it and it's capabilities. I was so excited to hear that an Android version was being launched but so disappointed when I downloaded it. It is absolutely nothing in comparison. Please please please make it at least comparable to the iOS version
