I used to make calculations all the time with a pencil on the margins of books when doing math homework or reading engineering papers.
Nothing prevents you from doing the same with good note, but it would be great if a recognition engine was used to compute the result of the calculations for you. In other words, embed something like Myscript calculator in good notes
