GoodNotes 3 had a hidden option to 'Optimise' a PDF, which could make a raster pdf much smaller and quicker to render. That function has been deletedn GoodNotes 4 - please, please bring it back.

You can do this already. Tap the grid button, then select edit and then the … button. You've then got an option to "optimize" any scanned pdfs. Note, this doesn't work with vector pdfs.

Agreed - and the most important thing when straightening lines is that the start and end points need to snap to where I draw them, instead of being moved by the straightening algorithm.

We now have bookmarks, which is a step in the right direction. Two things which would get us even closer:
1) make the typed text searchable, so I can use it to tag pages or items on pages.
2) implement hyperlinks to pages or bookmarks in notebooksWith hyperlinks, I could use iThoughts to creat mind maps, linking branches to my GoodNotes. That would be so useful!
This is a repeat of another idea on the list, which I've given 3 votes.
I need to update my comment, though. GoodNotes 4 has removed this feature. Please bring it back and make it easier to find than it was in GoodNotes 3.
