Specifically a pencil that you can use the apple pencil to draw with. This would be very useful for sketching. Especially if you could include the ability to shade when you tilt the apple pencil to the side, much like an actual pencil.
The in app calculator could be a calculator that you could set right on your sheet of paper in your notebook and do your calcs and then can record those calcs or possibly even drop the equations onto the sheet of paper somehow to record them for you. This would be extremely useful in the field and also, so you don't have to use your phone, switch apps, or do it on your desktop and then go back to your notes and enter the info.
