A lot of my work requires refined erasing of small text or diagrams. Yet my eraser always defaults to the largest size, and I accidentally erase too much and have to undo. Allowing me to set the smallest eraser as my default presentation would improve productivity.

Every time I select the eraser tool, it defaults to the largest size. So I end up erasing more than I want to, and then have to undo accidental erasures and then set the eraser to smaller size. I should be able to set the smallest eraser as default size to begin with. I love Goodnotes, but erasing is so common, this is getting to be an important usability issue.

    (1) Minimal: Dual toolbars present too many icons. I only use 1/3rd most of the time. So reduce clutter of icons.

    (2) Make the toolbars disappear when they are not focused on (like Apple Dock), so I get more space and less visual distraction

    (3) option to make the tool-square (not a bar) floating near where the user currently is in the page (maybe a long press of the pen). Square also disappears when not used. This reduces the need to go all the way to the top of screen to use the bar.

    (4) a bonus: arrange the icons in the square by frequency of their use.
