An error occurred while saving the comment Alexandra Jensen commentedWhile they’re in there, I’d love to see multiple colored bookmarks available in the toolbar so I can label pages for different reasons as I go. This would only be helpful if pages can have multiple bookmarks, and not just one at a time. I have different types of information that I need to revisit very quickly on the fly, so retrieving said bookmarks (some kind of filter view, or just a thumbnail view that easily shows which pages have the “green” bookmark for example) is paramount. It would really streamline my workflow and make it so much easier for find information.

An error occurred while saving the comment Alexandra Jensen commentedI am missing the basic, red bookmark toolbar button hardcore, but as long as you’re in there —- I would love to have a series of 3-5 bookmarks of another color in the toolbar, so i can mark pages to come back to for different reasons as i go.
Some pages have certain types of information on it that I need to access quickly…I’d like to assign that “Blue”. Other pages have other types of information, I’ll assign it “Green”. It’s important to note that this wouldn’t be helpful unless you can add MULTIPLE bookmarks to any given page. Some pages have multiple types of information that I need to come back to….some pages are Blue and Green and I’d like to label them as such, and find them quickly!

An error occurred while saving the comment Alexandra Jensen commentedI can see how it would be helpful to assign “presets” to different documents, but what would be most helpful for me is to save a pen or text preset and access it quickly via a toolbar. Just one click or tap, and my pen type and color changes, or the font changes. It would be nice to be able to toggle through different presets in the same document quickly and with ease.

An error occurred while saving the comment Alexandra Jensen commentedA sticky note feature would be incredibly useful, especially if the “shared document” feature continues to improve. My colleagues and I are all remote and communicate with each other one documents by just writing notes in the margins. It would be nice to be on a shared document and be able to easily see a sticky note (and easily see which pages contain said notes).

An error occurred while saving the comment Alexandra Jensen commentedLayers would be incredibly helpful. I annotate scripts and there are different overlays that need to be present and then sent to different people; not everyone needs all the same information at the same time. Being able to work with layers (that I can then name) would be a game changer! Especially if you continue to improve the “shared” document function.

An error occurred while saving the comment Alexandra Jensen commentedYes, the ability to create custom stamps right within GoodNotes would be SUCH a time saver for me. I am constantly marking up documents with the same words, symbols, and information.
Additionally, I want to be able to place my favorite stamps in the toolbar to select them quickly, and literally use as a stamp over and over —- without having to re-select the stamp each time. I literally just want to place my pen on the page and each time i do, it stamps.

An error occurred while saving the comment Alexandra Jensen commentedYou are definitely not alone!!!! This would be super helpful, jumping from bookmark to bookmark, but what would make it even better is the ability to ONLY view bookmarked pages, and scroll through them with my finger or trackpad etc.

This would be great!!! I work with television scripts, so there are often pages of the document that aren’t correct. For example, The cover page is not considered “page 1”. And added pages get page numbers like 15A and 15B. It would be nice to tell GoodNotes that 15A and 15B are just that, and not pages 16 and 17, which then throws off the rest of the script too….
We use the script page for reference so the workaround has been to literally hand-write (or type) a big red number in the upper right corner of every page so that they’re easily discernible in thumbnail view.
But that’s just as much work as going in and having to tell GoodNotes manually what page # it is…so this would only really be truly helpful if GoodNotes could somehow read/scan the script and do it automatically. Most film and TV scripts have the same format so, the placement and even the font is universal.
