It can be frustrating not being able to search for specific words in a scanned document, especially if the quality is much better than that from the iPad camera. You can try using IDanalyzer. It's an ID scanner that has OCR functionality https://www.idanalyzer.com/products/prime-id-scanner.html and can extract text from scanned documents. It might be worth checking out and seeing if it can help you add an OCR layer to your scanned documents so you can search for words in GoodNotes.
One feature I would love to see is better integration with cloud services like Google Drive and Dropbox. It would make it easier to access and organize notes across different devices. I've been using https://getlikes.com/ for a while, and I think it's already a great app, but there's always room for improvement. Another thing that could be improved is the search functionality. Sometimes, it can take a lot of work to find specific notes, especially if you have many. Enhancing the search algorithm to be more accurate would be a big help.
Also, adding more customization options for note templates would be great. I often want different styles or formats for various types of notes. A wider variety of templates would make the app more versatile. Lastly, improving handwriting recognition could make a big difference. While it's good, there's still room for more accuracy and speed.
