    Adding an OCR layer to a PDF file after it's been scanned with an external scanner would be really helpful. It can be frustrating not being able to search for specific words in a scanned document, especially if the quality is much better than that from the iPad camera. You can try using IDanalyzer. It's an ID scanner that has OCR functionality https://www.idanalyzer.com/products/prime-id-scanner.html and can extract text from scanned documents. It might be worth checking out and seeing if it can help you add an OCR layer to your scanned documents so you can search for words in GoodNotes.
